Alert!
There are very strong indications that Eizat Aldori the deputy of Saddam has been arrested near Tikrit!
After his arrest by the Iraqi Police and the US forces, 150 members of his guards tried to free him but most of them either killed or escaped.
More details later!
Congratulations for the victims of Abo-Al-Thaleg!
Where is that most wanted list at?
I have been waiting a long time for this guy.
Great link!
A Curse on YOUR mustache, Izzat.

you can always find a link to the most recent 'list'
by clicking on my name (my profile page).
You may or may not have to scroll down slightly, depending
on your screen size.
Are there any main-stream news sites or foreign news sites carrying this information?
I hope that we can appropriately and effectively interrogate him about weapons programs. I have deep concern about the impact of Abu Graive (sp)
Yes.
Rumor has it that the deck's Joker is Jackass Chiraq of France..
Semper Fi
I am trying to find anything online I can on this but nothing is being reported.
if so, Abu-Grahib his ass!
A shallow victory if true. The troubles in Iraq are so clearly beyond this now. His capture is an irrelevant footnote.
bump
Yep, just confirmed by Fox News, he has been captured!!!!
"...I see its been two hours and no confirmation"
Just hear on Fox that they have him and he is receiving medical attention.
BAGHDAD, Iraq Saddam Hussein's (search) former second-in-command, Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri (search), was arrested in northern Iraq, an Iraqi Defense Ministry spokesman told al-Hurra television.
Saleh Sarhan said al-Douri was captured while in a clinic where he was receiving medical treatment.
"There was a major operation around Tikrit (search) and al-Dour and American forces supported by Iraqi civil defense corps members were able to capture Izzat al-Douri," he told the U.S. government-funded Arabic-language station in a live telephone interview.
The U.S. military said it had no immediate comment on the report.
Fox news saying that he was still coordinating anti-coalition and anti-new Iraqi government activities. He had money, knowledge, experience, and power. If it is him, that would seem more than a shallow victory.
Interestingly, he went to a medical clinic for treatment, perhaps for leukemia he was dealing with.
Don't forget about Al Zawairi. Get him and Al Queda is dead.
bump - put panties on his head
I take it tha that Izzat isn't going to get that blood transfusion. Happy leukemia, Izzy!
