I wouldn't have posted this as a separate topic until I heard on the radio on the way home from the rally that the AP had reported the crowd booed when it was annnounced that the former president had been hospitalized. That is a bold faced lie. I understand it was later retracted, but that's like unringing a bell. I do not think it was in error, either, since the writer further stated that 'Bush did nothing to stop them.' Shameful.
The rally was amazing. I don't know how many were in attendance, but the crowd could not have been more enthusiastic. I could be wrong (but I don't think so) but I don't think there's any question Bush will win in Wisconsin. I have worked for campaigns before, and been to rally's before, but I have never witnessed the fervor I did today.
I have pictures in one-hour processing right now (I am resisting the purchase of a digital camera) and when I get them back, I'll try to post them. If anyone can tell me how to do it, please FReepmail me.
Actually, I was going to get some of the metal hydride batteries since they don't develope a memory like NiCads.
We have another case of phoned in media lies regards a Bush Speech.
We have another case of phoned in media lies regards a Bush Speech.
"I had to bust E.J. Dionne's chops today for lying about Zell Miller's speech today. In his column he claimed that their are no Democratic leaders claiming that U.S. forces are occupiers not liberators. I slapped ole EJ down and sent him a link to one of Senator Byrd's recent speeches where he makes the claim twice. I ended the letter by tellimg him not to lie anymore."
LOL I did the same thing. Except I used the approach that they gave VIP treatment to Michael Moore, who sat in the presidential box with Jimmy Carter. The theme of the whole film is that US troops are occupiers not liberators (heh heh when I wrote that I heard Zell's voice echoing). If the Dem 'leaders' didn't believe it then why invite the fool to the convention - VIP style no less!
but I also wrote a compliment to the author of this article

cuz that whole thing was ridiculous... told him everyone who saw that story thought the same thing he did except his buds in the media...
Actually the lie still appears in some articles:
Audience boos as Bush offers best wishes for Clinton's recovery

"Bush's audience of thousands in West Allis, Wis., booed. Bush did nothing to stop them. "
I think you should write to AP.
For general questions and comments;or to contact a specific employee: info@ap.org
Let's hope the media are close to realizing that Kerry is not worth what they're risking.
Mark Belling in Milwaukee has spoken with AP, and he assures his listeners that they will provide him with the name of the AP reporter. Hang tight everyone...
Great catch. Living proof.
He is really going after them. This is so outrageous. I wonder if it was that Fournier cretin.
Belling has an ap reporting willing to talk off the air.
It was a national reporter. I bet it WAS Fournier. Call AP and demand to know who filed the false report.
oops
Reporter will not give name of reporter to Belling, he just announced the number of the local Milwaukee AP office. He's suggesting to call and say, "Give us the name"

Frepper Dog may have the answer. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1206812/posts?page=49#49
Yep Drudge has link to Audio that proved scumbags at AP are delusional. Also mad becasue this isn't the first time Drudge has posted a story without confirmation. He has been critical of the AP at times but continues to take them at their word.
excellent, I sent the link to Belling.
