Oh sure they are saying that it was done by a Fox News pundit. They found out the principal is a commentator on Fox News and CNN but of course they singled out Fox News in their demented little minds.

Nothing. Tucker Carlson asked Greg Meeks if Kerry should have gone out there with a pre-written speech instead of what he did, and Meeks just regurgitated the 'he's going to fight back against Cheney, didn't serve,...blah, blah'.

This weekends talk shows are going to be very interesting. I wonder if Chris Matthews is going to mention this poll on his show tonight. In the past few months, if the polls are good for Kerry, that would lead the show. If it was the opposite, he would not even mention it. However, I can guarantee every one on this thread the media will be on a full court press to drive these numbers down.

Carville didn't wind up saying anything about it, but Tucker Carlson called the speech oddly disjointed and suggested Kerry shouldn't be let out in public without a scripted speech.

....Judy Woodruff...a conservative operative?!? DGIH, they are completely removed from reality. Someone really needs to intervene. I'll bring the popcorn.

What was Judy Woodruff talking about when she said that another poll out today showed them even so there may be something wrong with 'that' poll. It was intended for airing but she slipped it in. Anyone hear about this? What poll is she talking about?

It'll be even worse for her if we stay on course. The Democrat party has never benefited from the Clintons, they used it to raise themselves up. It is the media that must be causing her concern. If the Old Media sustains a lasting blow her chances descrease dramatically.

Does this mean Kerry has "jumped the shark"?

I prefer "screwed the pooch."

Hillary is waiting, this Bill thing could be deadly if she decides to jump in. This is not over yet.

I have to believe that anyone who saw that speech believes he was either drunk or stoned. There must be whispers going around Washington today.

I'm with you. After the election, I want to dedicate myself in whatever way possible to go after the MSM and their push polling as well.

I just don't want Kerry too badly beaten to soon. I want it to be a slow process, point by point over the next 8 weeks ending on the evening of November 2.

You can't play the clock. When you're near the goal line, you have to score no matter how much of the game remains. TAKE THE POINTS WHEN YOU CAN :))

#196: "In Philly three predominately black precincts, voter turnout was 110% of registered voters "

#364: Out of idle curiosity, how is this possible? At my district in Peoria they have a list of the registered voters and as each votes, they are checked off. It's not possible to get more than 100% of the vote. If you came from another district, I suspect you'd be told where to go vote.

Despite its popularity here, the '100+% turnout in Philly precincts' story is a myth. No one has ever documented any supporting evidence of those claims. Believe me, I was watching hard for months after 11/00, hoping to nail them Dems on this, but it just wasn't true.

The threat of Dem vote fraud is real, and appears that it did occur to an extent in St. Louis, Wisconsin, and Florida in 2000 and S. Dakota in 2002. Perhaps even in Philly, but nothing like the myth that is repeatedly invoked here, and not as pervasive as it is sometimes portrayed. That said, the electronic voting systems may indeed be a ticking timebomb.

Torie, did you ever find any evidence to support those Philly claims?

The best Kerry can do is attack Cheney's deferments? Wow that should about do it. What's next, Bush's dog poops on the lawn? Kerry is coming unhinged, I hope Hillary stays out. Bill's heart attack should insure that unless he goes belly up, that could be bad for Bush.
