Are you next door to him? If so, put a sign up with an arrow pointing to his house saying "Look what the Bush economy has done to this poor man.... I think he has two or three kitchens... so he doesn't know where his next meal is coming from"

So It broke the number 100K, which will be interpreted as a good news. Well, things do not look good for Dems.

don't forget this is the jobs report that is affected by the Florida huricanne.

Of course if those protesters at New York would go get a job everything would be fine

How do you miss 36,000 jobs?

If I remember right New Mexico accidently counted all the teachers on summer vacation as "unemployed" which greatly increased their numbers last week

You are SO wrong.
He also inherited the markets' reaction to Gore trying to sue his way into the White House, SARS, the Malvo sniper attacks, the anthrax attacks, the collapse of the dot-com bubble, a world-wide economic slowdown (see France & Germany), big league financial scandals at Enron, Arthur
Anderson, Tyco, Global Crossing (to name a few), and had
to face the headwinds of mid-$40's per barrel oil and a
concerted effort by major US-based companies to send
large numbers of jobs to third-world countries.

Kewwy campaign speeches, similar to the main character in

OK, OK, so make them lavender, with Fig Leaf Cluster.
"I'm John Kewwy, and I appwooved this medal"

New, GI Kewwy, with flip-flop action.

"Just hope they don't come back with

Unemployment rate January 2001 - 4.20%
Current Unemplyment Rate - 5.40%"

I hope that they do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We just have to play a video of the two planes crashing into the Twin Towers. This argument will easily be defanged!!!

Because the difference between the preliminary 144,000 number for August and 150,000 is statistically insignifigant. Get real.

(devils advocate on\)

What is the standard deviation and confidence interval?

What is the Confidence level? 95%, 99%?

How was the Std Dev calculated?

(\advocate off)

That is SO Sept. 10th.

See my earlier post.
BTW, why don't you make a month-by-month chart of the
# of employed in the US, and a month-by-month chart
of the unemployment rate in the US.

From (say) 6 months before Bush's first term ;-)
until today.
Put in arrows on 9-11 and at the passage of the Bush
tax cuts.

For extra credit, put in arrows at each movement in
the Federal Reserve Overnight Funds rate :-)
