We know that America has been dumb downded. Have we also morphed into an ugly, toothless society?
I am sure you have noticed this. Watch the news reports on Hurricane Frances. Nearly every single person shown is either a fat slob or butt ugly, normally missing a tooth (teeth?).
Has America become an ugly slob society?
I have seen about one hundred Floridians interviewed now about Hurricane Frances evacuations. Every last one of them have been so ugly they would scare Janet Reno.
I ask all of you--have you seen a well dressed, good looking, good talking Floridian interviewed yet? I live in Orlando and I can tell you my circle of neighbors and work associates are pretty damn good looking.
What is with this propensity to show the ugliest and fattest people whenever they interview a typical "person on the street"? It is like this whenever any news network has some current event and the film Joe or Joanne SixPack. It is ALWAYS the same--the scags from the sewer. Are the networks appealing to their Democrat viewers when they do this?
This is NOT a vanity thread. This is serious news about our society.
Must they show ugly people because they majority of Americans are ugly? Or fat? Is this done for ratings?
Why have you never seen a knockout, beautiful woman in an attractive outfit interviewed filling up her gas tank or packing her belongings? I just saw a lady like this filling up two hours ago at one of the last stations to have gas around here. She looked like Miss America so I guess she scared the TV guy away.
Five minutes ago on FOX, they showed an ugly toothless scag filling up also.
How many nice looking people do you think the TV interviewer sifts through before they find a fat, ugly scag to film that passes the litmus test for their news producer?
Has our society degenerated to the point that only ugly, fat scags can be shown as a typical "man on the street"?

Maybe the smarter, good looking ones are preparing for the storm and don't want to waste time talking to a tv crew, while the 'goobers' say "I'm gonna be on the teee veeee".

It is like this every damn time there is any "man on the street" interview. Does not matter what network. Does not matter what current event or what part of the nation.
I can't recall the last time I saw a decent looking woman interviewed. They seem to go out of their way to film ugly people.
There is an answer about the state of our society somewhere in here. You don't have the answer. Maybe there is a member here that works in news production that can explain this.
