Mentioning Kerry's Record Equals "Mudslinging"
self | 9/02/2004 | self

At about 1:30 EST this morning, General Merrill McPeak, who is virtually the only military figure supporting Spitball, did a quick interview on CNN Headline News. The interviewer asked him to respond to the charge that, for twenty years in the Senate, Kerry voted against almost every major weapons system now in use. I do not know how to get a transcript of the General's response, but a rough paraphrasing -- omitting the various hems and haws along the way -- was something to the effect of: "You can talk about motions, amendments, procedures, and so forth, but that's politics. John Kerry wore the uniform, and we need to look forward. So I would say that this is all just mudslinging." He actually used the word "mudslinging." He actually responded to a question about Kerry's voting record by referring first to the "uniform" and then to "forward." The interviewer was so startled that she asked the question twice and got the same answer twice, and then (this being Headline News) had to move on.

It was one of the most embarrassing, and hilarious, performances, I have seen in quite a while. It's pretty clear that we have found the hole in the enemy lines. Fix bayonets and charge.

To which I say...on what then do you gauge a persons worthiness? Is not past behavior indicitive of who they truely are?

Hanoi John's record?

Which one?

The one where he BETRAYED his brothers-in-arms? Many STILL fighting in VN?

Or the one in the Senate, where he has either NOT VOTED or voted AGAINST keeping America strong.

His record sucks. He sucks.

FLUSH THE JOHNS, it's starting to STINK!

Actually, the word they have chosen is "hate".

Sucker moms hate hate, and the RATs are going to describe everything Bush or Cheney say between now and November 2 as "hatred", "hateful", or "hate speech".

Isn't that how all girly-men talk?

No, it isn't. But those protestwarriors do seem to pick the lookers to carry the signs. Bet it helps to get attention, heads turning toward the message.

Hey, you could call me a soccer Mom-also cheerleading Mom, basketball Mom etc. However, nothing is more important to me than my family's security...All my friends are voting for the President. Now, I live in Georgia, but that still wasn't the case in 2000. Plenty of the women I know tennis team, sports etc were voting for Gore. This year, I don't know anyone voting for Kerry. I truly think Kerry will lose in a landslide-regardless of what the polls say. Ron Silver says he has friends who will not admit to voting for Pres. Bush, but will on electon night.

No, bruatal attacks are when Islamic slime take almost 400 hostages (100 of them children) and murder parents who try to save their children. Liberals don't understand...brutality. If Kerry is elected we soon would...as the terrorists move their efforts to the states. I think this awful situation in Russia (praying for them) remindes all of us of the nature of our enemy-evil, wicked-with a depraved indifference to life. John Kerry could never confront evil because he doesn't believe it exist. He thinks if he could just have a sit down with these people who could win their hearts and mind...even France is beginning to understand the true nature of Islamacists.

McPrickPeak is a fatuous @$$h0le, nor is he a "dumb" man.

Any veteran who can support John Kerry is either out of his ever-lovin' mind or has a huge piece of demonic shrapnel embedded fatally in his judgment!

8 yrs of the Clintlers taught them nothing.....

Character doesn't count...the democrats mantra....what a person does behind close doors or after work blah blah blah..

Trouble is ...is happened at work ..on the people's time....these guys don't believe that they work for the people...they work for what ever money put them in power and are agenda driven..an agenda apart from what the Constitution says are their limits...to boot....

The alleged rapes are a case in point....many women came forward with testimony that Bill Clinton raped them...a few said violently....

The women's movement was SILENT....

This same movement went after Clarence Thomas with a vengeance....screaming about the women's word being all that was need as PROOF...

In the case of Bill Clinton all the women were called partisan liars...regardless of how they voted or any Democrat affiliations....a label reserved for anyone who disagrees with the image makers fantasies

So the Dems have brainwashed their followers with the notion ..Character Does Not Count...

The Dems are cynical Marxists (is there any other kind?)...and are convinced that 'truth is irrelevant' that the only truth is what you can get people to believe at any given time...

To the Dems....the "Persona" is the only reality...they value presentation over substance...

for to them substance does not exist...only the package is relevant...

Dems underestimated Americans this time out.....many if not most still believe in God and in
absolutes...and a truth apart from spin...and substance over facade...

Most Americans are waking up to the fact that John F Kerry is not just a bad candidate
he is a liar...and the things he says qualify him for the most important office in the world
are phony...faked credentials...he forged himself...

America does not want a fake war hero for a leader any more than they would want a Surgeon with a fake medical degree operating on their child...

John Kerry is not to be trusted.....the word is out on this character.....and this time the Dem
fantasy factory is not getting the image of a war hero past a discerning public....

imo
