I live not too far from Senator Miller's office in Young Harris GA. If you want to send the good Senator a note of thanks, post on this thread. I'll print the thread out and drop it off at his office, letting them know that should he like to return a comment, I'll post it here at FR.
Message sent. I wish I had waited, tho, until his 'interview' with Matthews, so I could have given an added pat on the back!!
Dear Senator Miller,
As a New Yorker who will never ever get over the loss of friends and sense of security on 09/11/01, I want to thank you for your righteous anger.
I'm angry too and would rather die than hand our sovereignty over to the U.N. You have my deepest admiration.
Thank you, Senator Miller! Thank you for not putting politics ahead of principles. God bless you and your family.
Senator Miller,

Statesman.
God bless you!
Thank you, Mr. Miller! It is an inspiration to see someone in politics stand up for their beliefs.
Your speech was incredible, honest and from the heart.
Love your honesty!
God Bless you and your family.

Thank you so much Senator Miller! It takes a real statesman to put country over party and your name will go down in history as a National statesman, be proud! We are of you!
God Bless Zell and the American Military that keep us defend our freedoms.
Thank you, Senator Miller.
Senator Miller, when you finished tonight I noticed for the first time that though I was sitting across the room from the TV when you began, I'd moved closer & closer as you spoke until I was finally kneeling on the floor with my face almost pressed against the screen--exactly what I'm always getting on the grandkids for doing. Are you too old to run for President in 2006?
I loved reading your "Favorite Music" on your website. My 13 year old canary's name is Albert E. Brumley.
(But how could you leave out his "If We Never Meet Again This Side of Heaven"? It's our family song. I've taught it (including the beautiful descant on the chorus) to all 5 children & their spouses & the 17 grandchildren.)
If you & I never meet this side of heaven, I'll see you "where the charming roses bloom forever" & the kids & I will sing to you.
Senator Miller, you were magnificent! Your speech was inspired, and I could tell it came from the core of your being. Later, ironing Chris Matthews was the frosting on the cake. You spoke for millions of us in shutting that big mouth up. Thank you!
God Bless Zell and the American Military that defends our freedom.
Senator Miller: Thank you for taking a principled stand and supporting George W. Bush. I haven't seen very many examples of courage such as yours from our political leaders in my lifetime. Your bravery is a rare commodity in politics, but it is one that I certainly cherish. May God bless you and your family, and may God bless America.
Just sent him an email. What a great American he is. God Bless him.
Senator Miller,
This American salutes you.
Thank you for clarifying to America as only you could the difference between wrong and right.
You, Sir, are a hero.
God Bless You.
My favorite uncle lives on Merritt Island, it looks like it is going to land on his house.
He has four sons there, so they should be OK.
Senator,
I have lived many years in Georgia and have learned to love the eloquence, insight, fortitude, humor and straight talk of southern folks.
Your speech tonight was the epitome of those qualities.
I could smell the pines and honey suckle vines and my heart was full of pride, resolve and anger at our ennemies.
Thank you Senator!
I will be honored to be one of your seconds when you duel Chris Matthews.
