It's nice of Kerrey to remind us that it wasn't just Quick John that betrayed our Viet Nam vets and our allies in SE Asia--'twas the majority of the 'Rat Party.
Well said PRoW. I agree completely.

Just sent them another $25 dollars. These guys have really exposed Kerry for what he is. I don't really think it is about VN or the post war or the lying stuff. What people are getting turned off to Kerry about, is how he is handling this whole ordeal. If he can't handle this, how can he handle other world leaders and terrorists? I believe that is what is happening.

Kerrey knows that Kerry is a house of cards. Kerrey doesn't have a leg to stand on when he starts talking about Kerry's honesty.

Conservatism, we are told, is out-of-date. The charge is preposterous and we ought boldly to say so. The laws of God, and of nature, have no dateline. The principles on which the Conservative political position is based have been established by a process that has nothing to do with the social, economic and political landscape that changes from decade to decade and from century to century. These principles are derived from the nature of man, and from the truths that God has revealed about His creation. Circumstances do change. So do the problems that are shaped by circumstances. But the principles that govern the solution of the problems do not. To suggest that the Conservative philosophy is out of date is akin to saying that the Golden Rule, or the Ten Commandments or Aristotle's
Politics are out of date. The Conservative approach is noth ing more or less than an attempt to apply the wisdom and experience and the revealed truths of the past to the problems of today. Barry Goldwater,
The Conscience Of A Conservative, 1960.

Yes and being a LIAR is probably the biggest of all. I believe that you're mistaken. His lying is merely the most apparent symptom of his total lack of character.

Meanwhile, Creative Coalition co-president and "Dr. Vegas" star Joe Pantoliano wonders if FDR would fare better than Kerry if he were alive today. I'm sorry to hear that Pantoliano is such a pantload!

POW Drive in Confusion
(Washington) Evening Star , July 23, 1971
By Mary McGrory, Star Staff Writer
AP PHOTO: JOHN KERRY
(snip)
Four heckling women infiltrated a press conference called by John Kerry yesterday to accuse the President of using the prisoners of war for political purposes.
In voices shaking with nerves and rage, the ladies in the back of the room, all relatives of POW's, accused Kerry of using the prisoners for his own political purposes.
"What are you running for now, Mr. Kerry?" screamed one of the disrupters.
Other POW kin who had gathered with Kerry to demand action on the Viet Cong's recent prisoner-release proposal were the targets of some of the ladies' taunts: "You're stupid, Kerry is using you to run for office." The four noisily stomped out. They were under the escort of a representative of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, which regards the stylish and eloquent Kerry, spokesman for the Vietnam Veterans Against the War, as public enemy number one.

Did you take a look at that website. Man...the music is great, and like all the events of this week, it makes you even more proud to be an American! We have such a great group of people defending us!

I ordered "Unfit to Command" from Amazon and they told me the shipment would be delayed because of short supply. Are they being honest or are they discouraging the sale of this book?

It seems that the 7th Seal is just as credible, if not more so, than the men endorsing Sen. Kerry's behavior.
