Kerry on local radio at the American Legion convention in Nashville.
He starts off by buying John Glenn's support by promising him another trip into space.
Opening joke about him having a problem keeping his speech under 10 minutes falls absolutely flat.
Maybe you'll get a chance to spit on him like he and his 'friends' did to his fellow VN vets.
He should have taken their advice and stopped at 10 minutes, but personally I'm glad he is up there making of fool of himself.
He's laying an egg.

He did, and the Swift Boat Vets have their next ad. The "I kept the faith" line from this speech, the "hooked up wires to genitals" line from the Senate testimony, the "we stand by those who served" line from this speech, the "Jenjis Khan" line from the Senate testimony, the and so on. Writes itself.
I wonder why no one is sitting behind him? It's so dark back there you can't see all his supporters cheering wildly!

He's starting to speed up his words in an effort to get the hell out of there...
Did he really say he kept faith with Vietnam vets? Egad, the man is positively deluded!

He's claiming all this phony crap about supporting vets. Except when he's spitting on them. He's promising them all kinds of benefit increases etc.. Trying to buy their votes. Yet while in the senate he's never written a single piece of legislation to do it. He OPPOSED the last 3 pay raise for our service men and women. Active and retired. He's a lying f'n hypocrite.
Kerry just claimed that no one doubted that we would win the war in Iraq quickly. Heck, the democrat Generals on CNN claimed we were losing the war right up until the time we won.
What a liar!
Now Kerry is telling the soldiers that Pres. Bush failed to get UN support. Wow-he is delusional. No vet wants to serve under the f'ing UN. I hear no applause now.
Oh Lord! Going with the crap that Bush hasn't "won the peace" and that Bush doesn't have enough troops in Iraq and basically Bush did EVERYTHING wrong.
