Thank you.
Juan Williams might be a white man in the morning.
Loved Chrissie's remark that the Dems were mislead by the media into thinking that all they had to do was 'play nice'. Hahahahahahahahaha!!!
lol
The best thing is that I assume the over the air networks carried both speeches. Obviously, the GOP planned it that way.
If I recall they were ticked at Rev Al because he talked so long and cut into Kerry's speaking time
Matthews was a partisan scumbag as usual. I didn't have the pleasure of watching Zell tear him a new one, but I caught Zell a few minutes after (before?) on the CNN panel, and Blitzer, Woodruff, and Greenfield were the disgraces I expected them to be. They hammered Miller with pre-prepared questions about GOP hypocrisy on weapons/fighter jet/tank funding. Then Tad Devine, Kerry's rep was aloud to call Cheney a liar and a draft dodger, and Miller clueless, without a single follow-up.
no. again, its the difference between opinion and observation.
take Rudy's speech for example - he took it to Kerry, but with a smile. Arnold too. its the "killing me softly" approach.
One thing you have to remember about the "undecideds" - a recent study revealed that 75% of self described undecided voters ended up voting for the same party they did the previous election. They aren't that undecided.
Stay Safe
I captured Zell's speech with my pctv card and just went back and watched it again.
It was even better the 2nd time. I missed some zingers the first time.
This speech should go down in history as a classic. Every American should hear/watch it. It is that great of a speech--both in intent and content.
I think Zell did a great job, but I don't think focus groups mean anything. With a group of only 17, the margin of error has to be right up around 100%.
Out with it!
Exactly -- moderate wing -- haven't seen them around yet!
Thanks.
Zell rocks!
Nope, it's called: having a different perspective/take on what we saw.
Nope. Negative. No way. It must be seen to be appreciated. Zell threated to terminiate the interview. Zell said he wanted to get right in Matthews' face. It was the most heated interview I have ever seen. Period. Only one miscue, or mis-communication. Matthews was trying to draw a parallel, and brought up school lunches and social security. Miller assumed that Matthews was pulling that "out of the air" in reference to what Zell said tonight -- that dust-up became clear to Matthews in a few seconds, and went away. Otherwise, every exchange was fair, but hot-hot-hot. Chris learned manners before it was over -- but he is still defending the way he treated Malkin.
I sure this has been mentioned, but did anybody hear the small riff when Zell walked on the stage of 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia?' LOL!!
There has to be something more expressive than ROFLMAO.
How about laughing so hard that coffee flew out of my nose, wet my pants and scared the dog.
lshcfoonwmpsd
The whole incident can be spun as an attack on Zell Miller by the left wing press for exercising his freedom of speech. The nervous nellies on here worried about how the MSM will portray this are nutty.
I'm telling you Zell Miller connects with Joe and Jane Blue Collar.
