I was trying to find out the time that the Senator's speech will occur. I found nothing at the Legion website (www.legion.org), nor at the Kerry site, nor at CSPAN. When will the speech be given?
Anyway, here is a thread for people to post their comments.

I listened to President Bush's speech. The applause was loud and long. This is loud applause from a few with a lot of dead silence in between. I would say that the Legion is doing just fine.
The only applause he gets is when he says I'll get stuff for you.
Kerry: We owe the American people THE TRUTH.
He claims he intends to give an honest and serious appraisal of the war on terror.
No one doubted the outcome in Iraq. Best troops and true to form they performed magnificently. We are all grateful.
But the most solemn obligation was on the civilian leadership to "win the peace".
Crying about Gen. S. (can't spell it) being "rewarded" with early retirement for voicing objections to the plan.
Speaks of looting! Failure to secure Iraq's borders. This allowed terrorists to penetrate and destabilize. Amazingly, they had no plan for post-war Iraq. This despite clear bi-partisan warnings.
He is getting applause, but it's nowhere near the reception the President got yesterday and I haven't seen even one thing that would signal a standing ovation, which I'm pretty sure the President got a couple.
"NATO ... the greatest alliance ever built..."

Ok, he refought VietNam for 6 months and now Kerry is refighting the Iraq War and what all went wrong.
I'd bet a whole $dollar he won't specify what he would do (with details and specifics).
