Was gramps also realistic enough to know that fascists and communists are two strains of the same breed?

Gramps inclined more toward the ideal than the pragmatic. Hence his penchant for separating the Brahman caste of communists, the anarchists, from the everyday socialist, Stalinist, or Maoist.

The latter were involved in the dirty work of setting up the workers paradise, those who were breaking the eggs if you will, so that we may enjoy an omelet. The former fantasized about the day when no government were necessary as we all went happily about our twin duties of contributing according to our ability while consuming according to our needs, "voluntarily".

Not unlike bees or termites although Gramps never made that analogy.

Some of them look like prostitutes...

Lordy, neighbor- not only wouldn't I pay money to have sex with what I've seen so far, I'm not sure there's enough money on Earth to pay me to do 'em...

Wow.
I never knew his name and always called him "Skunk Man".
So, is that his "solo career" album?....LOL!

[I haven't watched MTV since 1989. Now it's strictly VH1 Classic for me]...;)

Saw some good Sunday pictures of the unwashed at Ken Weaton's site.

Still thinking about the "Every time U vote 4 Bush, Jesus kills a kitten" placard.

"Why are they all so unattractive?"

Because hate is a very ugly emotion.

I guess this means Bush has lost the cat-owner voting bloc, but he still has the support of "Rottweilers for Republicans"...

Did your grandfather know Sacco and Vanzetti?

Interesting pair. IMO, Sacco was guilty, Vanzetti may have been innocent (but probably guilty as an accessory.) He took the fall for the team. Which, as you say, was the Communists.
