Excellent point. Once they stopped with the jokes and started being daughters talking about their parents, it was very sincere and touching.
My nephew is in Iraq. He is 22. He doesn't talk trash like those two airheads did. He is fighting for us.
It doesn't offend me in the slightest that Laura Bush gave a speech tonight. She is THE most popular person within both campaigns. Now, I could have done without the kids speaking (both Bush's and Kerry's) but A. Nobody asked me, and B. If the convention featured only speakers I liked, the only people who would tune in would be NASCAR fans and fighter pilots.
I think you need a DUH adjustment. The point is, the 22 yo's fighting would not be as vicious as you are because they recognize the reality of our nations freedoms. I might suggest a nice long, ice cold shower for you.
Watch it. I've got the "flaky 18-25 votes" in my family voting for George W. Bush.
Did they actually have nice things to say about Arnold? On PBS?

Articulation isn't everything. They are not lacking if they cannot make a Oscar-like exchange sound more entertaining. Let's face it, professional actors can't make that sort of thing sound good. It wasn't polished, compared to Arnold, but it won't make much of a difference.

Maybe he's hoping no one will notice what must be a chilly reception there for him...
Didn't he say years ago, no American Legion for him, something like that, when he was slamming the vets.
There are a couple of intelligent people up here, but there are alot more communists.
