There appears to have been a major shift in the last month in the U.S. presidential campaign from KERRY-IN-THE-LEAD to BUSH-IN-THE-LEAD.
And this, before the GOP Convention has really gotten underway.
It seems that Kerry supporters and Bush haters are becoming increasingly strident, stressed, psycopathic and perhaps even violent in some cases. Have you personally noticed this in your town and community?
.....Because of TeRAYyza's very public meltdown, the SwiftBoatVets, Unfit for Command's booming national sales, devastating Swiftee TV ads in battlegrounds states, and the Kerry slip in the polls?
Consider:
--A young Bush campaign supporter was sucker-punched yesterday at a Washington State political event by a Kerry supporter--right on national TV.
--Freepers report Kerry-ite "flip- offs" in traffic(middle finger salutes), increasingly desperate and irate liberal emotions, foul language, verbal abuse when they peacefully display pro-Swift Boat vet or anti-Kerry stickers on their cars.
--The national TV reporters and commentators who side with Kerry seem almost apoplectic on TV these days, babbling, whining, salivating and doing everything short of cursing or throwing ashtrays.
On this FR thread, kindly please related your own personal experience on cases of strange behavior by libs and Kerry supporters that you come across. It would help to know the "what", "when", "where" and "why", too. Perhaps there is a national sickness developing in over in the Hate Bush camp, as they see their lead evaporate and their chances of capturing the White House fade. They seem to have only have nasty, threatening and sometimes violent means to turn to now. Would you agree?
The young boy, (18 yr old) who was tending the shop was talking to a man who had brought his radiator in for repair. The man was spouting a Kerrry talking point to the youngster,(something about the world hating us). The youngster, who by the way I have tutored a bit on politics (grin) was listening intently as I came in the door..
The boy responded to the man's tirade by saying, "You are voting for Kerry?" "He ain't no good!"
The man started blasting him with obscenities and stormed out the door. Radiator and all.
The young kid looked at me and asked,"Did I do good Mike?" To which I replied, "Damn right!" "But you lost a customer."
He said in reply, "Don't need that kind anyway."
Over the weekend I went into the BX here at Maxwell. They have Tour of Duty on one of the endcaps in the book section. Every single copy of the book was upside down, and a sign sat above the endcap "Unfit for Command on Backorder".
Well, I went back in the BX today and they were setting up a V shaped display for PAssion of The Christ videos. About 3 feet in front of the Endcap where it will completely block the copies of Tour of Duty (Which were still all upside BTW)
Made my day :-)
We spent a few days the summer of 2000 in Portland with my Bush/Cheney stickers, second amendment stickers and anti Watermelon stickers on my Bronco.
A younger relative, whom, we visited was afraid that I or my wife would get killed or put him in danger. To placate him, at night I parked my Bronco in his garage and he parked his unstickered vehicle in the driveway. He lived in NE Portland at that time.
Keep the stories coming. This is the best thread I've read in a long while.

Silly! Everyone knows you can take out a Lib with the simple truth.
I have been given the " nasty gesture" on the freeway, had our Bush/ Cheney Sticker Xed out and my husband was driving the 101 freeway in Burbank and had a van pull up long side of him, gestured for him to roll down the window, at which time the driver, yelled F--K BUSH at him and sped off....they are going mad!!!
I wish I knew how to add a pic to this post. I love my Bumper Sticker wish I could share.
How wonderful!!
They've been mad for some time now. After the GOP convention and Bush gets a bump (which the liberal media has said he WON'T because the voters "have already decided") they're going to be psychotic.
I wonder what she did with the table she got during Clinton's 8 year tenure.....Hmmmmm???? Egads, was she poor then????
They'll need to build new mental hopsitals to handle the overflow when Bush wins.
>>We walked for five hours and only met two people who supported Kerry on our Democratic list! What does this mean?
Four more years.
Yeah well, hitting the breaks ususally works relly well here. scares the s*** out of them and by they time they recover your gone.
The one thing in OR's credit is he will take on organizations like the RedCross and other organizations that are doing wrong.
I believe that he voted for the Hildebea$T. He caved with Michael Moore and gave him a pass. He will vote for Kerry and if the Hildebea$t runs, he will vote for it.
Details? Describe them.
My gun rack helps.
I have met some nice Kerry supporters. They are Americans too. However, I guess you would say I am on the right side of issues. My "Louisville Slugger", however flys back and forth, left to right very quickly. As I always say: You show your a _ _, you get it kicked. Fortunately, for all concerned I have not had any nastiness thrown my way. Hang in there and be safe. Good Post!
BUSH 04!!
This just in from Jay Severin (talk show host in Boston)
Bush flawed, Kerry Fraud
It's great, goes straight to the "undecideds"
which county?
Half of American voters are babbling, incoherent idiots. The other half will be voting for Bush.
