If he doesn't change his mind about letting all the mexicans come here, I would like to see him voted out. As I said before, with Kerry in office the end will come sooner and we start over again that much quicker.
Also, a bit of gridlock will make it better just like under Clinton when Gingrich shaped the legislative agenda. Of course, Frist is no Gingrich.

I know that I would be very uncomfortable in an area where there were a lot of them.
Specifically, Bush, Cheney, Rove, Ridge and Asa "should wake up!"
Excellent points and very well taken. Their 'holy book' is a bastardized version of the Bible, so poorly translated from its original sources that "77 grapes" promised to the victorious is understood by some as "77 virgins". And, only Satan could author such a book!

The border could be a lot better controlled --- right now it's pretty much wide open, there are fences in the towns that do keep many on their own side and thanks to Operation Hold-the-Line, there are agents placed pretty close together so that you can see extreme violence and crime in a city like Ciudad Juarez yet El Paso is relatively calm and the car theft rates are down from what they were.
One problem is the Mexican cartels haven't been shut down, they have the ability to smuggle huge amounts of drugs and people over the border --- shut down the smuggling operations and that takes care of much of the problem. The smugglers are working with dishonest employers on the USA --- like slavers supplying them the cheapest possible labor so those employers should also suffer some consequence. Big fines to reimburse the taxpayers for what their cheap employees have cost --- it's the taxpayers who pay when an illegal without workman's comp and insurance gets injured, or when his kids get sick or girlfriend has a baby, or when the kids need to go to Headstart.
Rrrrriiiiiiiight.

How would that hurt re-election chances? The only reason Silvestre Reyes got elected to Congress is because he was the border patrol chief who put Operation Blockade and Operation Hold-the-Line into place --- he stood up to the Mexican government which obviously condemned him for those and that made him quite popular in the area along the border. Along the border, people definitely do not want the border open --- and we're talking mostly "hispanic" people.
Even if you arbitrarily cut Caruba's number in half--to only 2500 or so Arab-speaking illegals--are you trying to tell us that there is absolutely NO danger or threat present by virtue of their access to this country?
Since all of my grandparents got here the old-fashioned way (LEGALLY), it's not too much to ask that others do the same.

All we have to do with the Arabs coming over the Mexican border is assume they're really Mexicans -- and deport them to Mexico -- fly them to Mexico City or Guadalajara and let the Mexicans take care of them. A few months in a Mexican prison might be a good deterrant.

Under the provisions of the Patriot Act, their case will be heard by a Secret Court (no defense necessary, or invited) and could be subject to sneak-and-peek, OR immediate jailing for the 'safety' of the citizens.
Since an estimated 80% of the mosques are built by Saudi government money, I think many should be shut down for that reason --- they are agents of a foreign government. And Muslims should be treated just like Nazi groups in the USA are --- watched very closely. We've got Nazis --- I guess that hasn't been forbidden either. We have to be careful about Nazi symbols being used to spread their hate --- but even much more careful about Islamic symbols being used.

Read CityJournal--go find their article on 3rd-generation Mexicans. It's not exactly what you portray.
They were lucky --- one kid who attended high school here -- not an American kid but the family was living here -- got involved in the drug trade in Mexico and his was one of the 13 bodies dug up buried under some backyard patio in Juarez --- those guys were tortured severely and killed by the police over there working for the competing cartel.
It used to be that way but assimilation is difficult when you're placed into Spanish speaking classrooms and never have the opportunity to hear English speaking people.

Exactly how are the illegal aliens who come from Mexico and countries South get along? There is people here of their ethnic background who assist them.
How long have we had ME's living in the US? Certainly long enough to allow an illegal alien (terrorist) from the Middle East to disappear into our communities and our law enforcement doesn't even have the capabilities to detect their arrival.
Should a group of ME's launch another attack on America, more people will die and then your eyes may be opened a bit wider to reality.
