Bob Dornan (R) and Pat Kadell (D) were just on Fox's Hannity & Colmes debating Kerry's predicament. Bob Dornan went on a savage attack, showing burned US flag and VC/Communist flags that were burned by Kerry's anti-war group in 1971. Dornan also wanted Fox to have anti-Kerry widows from the Vietnam war. Kadell was actually rational and his analysis I thought were excellent and on point. Kadell bascially said that Kerry/Democrats made a mistake making Kerry's Vietnam service the cornerstone of his campaign instead of talking about the issues.
Try to follow along. You appear to have missed tha later conversation, bud.

You got it!! I knew Dornan wouldn't be able to keep quiet once all this stuff on Kerry started hitting the fan.
FReeper Old Glory and I were at the Hilton in D.C. for a convention in mid-September, 1996. (About 2 years before we joined you up there for the "March for Justice"). After Bob Dornan spoke on the evening of the 13th, there were so many of us that cornered him in the lobby to talk, that he arranged for a private conference room so that he could do a question and answer session.
WE DIDN'T GET OUT OF THAT ROOM UNTIL 2:30 AM !!! They were still going strong when we left, but we had to get at least SOME sleep!! I have no idea what time he got out of there. :)
I was one of the ones lucky enough to get my picture taken with him that night.
As an aside, Old Glory also snapped me doing a two-fingered "rabbit ears" over Al Franken's head as I stood beside him for a picture. LOL
Gary Aldrich was at that convention too, and I have a picture of him autographing his book, Unlimited Access, for me.
I think Kerry should be president--just not president of the USA--France maybe? VietNam? or Cuba? He would be welcomed as a hero in Ho Chi Min City.
His Senate voting record, cutting the budget of the FBI says to me, NO.
Those of us who are reading this thread know better than to believe that you as an individual consider Bob Dornan to be your idol. So, I think, does "sport." We may have been better served had the poster said "one" instead of "you," but it's water over the dam now. Please don't let it distract from your fine post.

Bob Dornan, on the other hand is awesome. He is one of those great old time Conservatives who never swerves, never changes, never gives in, and never gives up.
If he says the POW wives are out there and are hopping mad at Kerry, you can take it to the bank. In 1971 they BEGGED Kerry to shut up because of the harm it was doing to their POW hubbys by giving ammunition, aid and comfort to the enemy.

Please explain who B1 Bob Dornan is, his record and accomplishments and why he is someone to be taken very seriously.
Explain to those who didn't live through the 60's or the Vietnam War exactly who John Kerry hooked up with when he came home ( VVAW) , their flat out Communist connections, his secret trips to meet with Communist leaders in Paris.
I think it would be helpful to put this all in context.

Also, Dornan said Kerry's group pulled ten flags down from the building they were at, I assume these were probably US State flags. Kerry's group urinated on those flags and burned an American flag.
Dornan says he followed and filmed Kerry for 8 hours that day. Dornan recovered several Communist flags and the burned American flag left behind by Kerry's gang.

I think we all know the details (at least I do). But the point is whether Dornan went over the line or not. You don't see O'Neill and other Swift Vets acting like Dornan. The Swifties are being factual and making persuasive arguments. Dornan is acting like a Kerry hater. Big difference. That is what I am trying to point out.
Dornan is Dornan.
There are many many people who don't know enough about the 60's and 70's and know less about the hard core left anti-war movement.
Bob Dornan is someone Conservatives should know more about.

But perhaps it was, as his campaign will certainly pawn off his relationship with Hanoi Jane - a youthful indiscretion.
He was a good candidate for a FBI mole @ VVAW since I do believe his father was somebody in the federal government.
Does Matthews show anyone respect? Seems to be a lot of people leaving his show one way or the other.
We watched "B1 Bob" at his best, that night in NYC-(1996)- We could never call him a "Casper Milk-Toast"

Al Franken--sat with us at dinner--(Never figured how that happened--pass the Rolaids)----and ---if that wasn't enough--there he was at the Dornan bash that night---uuuuugh!
