In an interview with WorldNetDaily, "Band of Brothers" member James Wasser flatly denied he told a former swiftboat crew mate that he had always despised their skipper John Kerry but "came around" after a persuasive, private meeting with the senator at the beginning of the presidential campaign.

Does this fit any of the Kerry band of...............?

Whitey was in the fertilized egg business. He had several hundred young layers called pullets and eight or ten roosters, whose job was to fertilize the eggs. Whitey kept records and any rooster that didn't perform went into the soup pot and was replaced.

That took an awful lot of Whitey's time so Whitey got a set of tiny bells and attached them to his roosters. Each bell had a different tone so Whitey could tell from a distance, which rooster was performing.

Now he could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report simply by listening to the bells.

Whitey's favorite rooster was old Brewster, a very fine specimen he was, too. But on this particular morning Whitey noticed old Brewster's bell hadn't rung at all!

Whitey went to investigate. The other roosters were chasing pullets, bells-a-ringing. The pullets, hearing the roosters coming, would run for cover.

BUT, to Whitey's amazement, Brewster had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring. He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one.

Whitey was so proud of Brewster, he entered him in the county fair... and Brewster became an overnight sensation among the judges.

The result...

The judges not only awarded Brewster the "No Bell Piece Prize" but they also awarded him the "Pulletsurprise" as well.

Clearly Brewster was a democrat. Who else could figure out how to win two of the most politically biased awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the populous and screwing them.

$$$$$

I'll bet Rassman ends up with a full bank account when this thing is over, too. A billion dollars can buy a lot of favors.
I've always thought that, because the SBV have nothing to gain by coming out with their truth. Those few who "hang" with Kerry may easily become millionaires.

This is a very interesting relevation.

It's really not necessary to read bribery or dealmaking into the equation. I am all for individuals like Wasser and McCain deciding to forgive Kerry for his transgressions after one-to-one discussions.

But most veterans have not had the luxury of that facetime. Nor has Kerry gone on record, publicly, and fully and completely apologized for his despicable actions after Vietnam. Had he done so, far more veterans may be willing to put the past behind them and vote on current issues.

Of course, I believe as everyone here does that voting the issues means voting for Bush. But the fact is that something like 15% of Democrats are voting for Bush, and I wonder how many of them are doing so because of Vietnam.

From the article regarding Christmas in Cambodia:

But he is not disturbed by Kerry's revision of the story, emphasizing we were "very close," with "Cambodia on the left bank and Vietnam on the right bank."

Get a map, dude!

Where the Mekong crosses the border, it's perpendicular to the border.

If Cambodia's on your left, it's on your right too. Same for Vietnam.

This guys conscience will haunt him forever. He stabbed his buddies in the back for a buck.......

Recalling the conversation, Gardner, paraphrasing, says he told Wasser, "The John Kerry I know is not the John Kerry you guys are talking about. How can you campaign for him after despising the ground he walked on?"

Gardner, 56, of Clover, S.C., has speculated it's possible the men were bought off somehow, but, whatever the case, he thinks Kerry used his powers of persuasion to bring them to a glowing, positive view diametrically opposed to the one they held in Vietnam.

He claims Wasser's reply was something like this: "I felt the same way you did, buddy, but after John sat us down and talked with us for awhile, we came around to his way of thinking."

If kerry got 'face time' with some of the POW vets, he'd be in serious need of dental work and reconstructive surgery.

LOL. I am sure you are correct. Don't let my father near Kerry, that's for sure. Even if he were on his knees begging for forgiveness, that would just make it easier for my father to kick him in the teeth.

Well, SOMEONE put Rassmann in for a Purple Heart for the action March 13, 1969. Rassmann never mentions it or any injury in all of his "Kerry saved me" stories, but the records show he was awarded one for that day.

I've always suspected these guys traveling with Kerry were being paid .. BECAUSE .. IT WAS THE VERY FIRST QUESTION THE MEDIA ASK ABOUT THE SWIFTIES!! (if Bush was paying them to do this)

Using the "projection technique" as a guide .. I wondered why the media would ask that question, unless it was given to them by the Kerry campaign, to deflect the question from being ask of the Kerry group.

Looks like I was right! AGAIN! These people are so predictable.

I've been wondering if the general in the ad that said he voted for Bush last time, but is voting for Kerry this time -- sponsored by the DNC -- got any money from Terry McAwful?
