Clemency is about mercy. I am not demanding anything. I am asking that I be given the opportunity to continue contributing to society, even if it means from a prison cell. Too bad you never gave Brian Clendennen that option.

Too bad they didn't execute her at the same time. Another commie trying to be the criminals mommy. The death penalty deters crime, because the SOB will never kill again. Bush/Cheney 2004

Allridge executed Thursday night 8/26/2004 8:58 PM By: Associated Press
HUNTSVILLE -- Convicted killer James Allridge was executed Thursday night for the 1985 slaying of a store clerk in Fort Worth during a robbery. The victim was 21-year-old Brian Clendennen. Speaking slowly and quietly with his voice halting at times, Allridge thanked his family and friends for loving him and expressed remorse. Clendennen's relatives said afterward that Allridge got what he deserved. Allridge was the 12th Texas death row inmate to have his punishment carried out this year, the second this week. Allridge spent some of his time on death row creating artwork sold on an Internet site. His work attracted the attention of actress and death penalty opponent Susan Sarandon, who visited Allridge last month. |

Maybe we can help find a new death role inmate for Susan to adopt. Any suggestions?

I think Texas only uses the "hot shot" now-a-days. Too bad, I think these SOB's deserve this alot more:

I think her next "role" should be sweeping Brian Clendennen's grave clean. She can use the same broom she rides around on.
I'd have her to tend to the flowers as well, but I'm afraid they might wilt at her touch.

Glad we're no longer wasting oxygen or tax dollars on Huntsville's Artist-in-Residence.
Thanks for the compliment on my profile being killer--no pun intended on a thread about execution, eh? LOL I haven't had time to research it but I'm almost positive David Barton of Wallbuilders is responsible for writing the piece on the Founders. I've heard him on the radio and tv and it sounds just like his style. You might want to check out his site, Wallbuilders, he has an impressive collection of books and materials on REAL American history. I'd love to work for him!

His work attracted the attention of actress and death penalty opponent Susan Sarandon, who visited Allridge last month. And in the end, she denied his request to hold his hand while it happened.

Add a fried Mumia and she'd have nice bookends for her Marxist book collection. Remember to recycle your dead criminals! ROFL!!!

Thank you for posting this information. It took me forever this morning to even find mention of the execution which I heard about on the radio early this morning.
This reminds me a lot of plan Mumia and his brother used to murder Officer Faulkner except theirs was a well set death trap. No one was going to "chicken out" that night. I can't wait until he's roasting on a spit next to Allridge.
What's even more enraging is that on top of suffering the loss of her husband Mrs. Faulkner lives in constant fear. She has received death threats herself for speaking the truth about what happened and calling for Mumia's execution. I'm not sure how to go about it but I think she is worthy of support from FR.
