Around 150 people are surrounding a Fox News van that is reporting from Union Square. The reporter is being heckled and several pieces of dumpstered bread were thrown at the reporter. People are chanting, including "Show the body bags! Show the body bags!" There are still many hundreds of people in Union Square.
The Chicago Seven was a group of seven men who were arrested at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago and charged with conspiracy to incite a riot. The charge arose from an anti-Vietnam War demonstration outside the convention hall that was broken up by Chicago police.
Will Republican convention be a Chicago '68 madhouse?
Activist Tom Hayden pledges disruptions 'bigger by a thousand fold' for GOP event.
I keep saying this, because I really mean it: I think these people (these hippie activist types) are going through major end of their life crisis. Erik Ericson calls this psychosocial maladaptation, DESPAIR.
Hmmm? I've seen and heard McAwful disavowing any connection to these groups.
If its Rebecca Gomez, those protestors are in need of some cracked skulls. I regret I can not be there to assist.
And .. a BASE FUNDED BY THE CANDIDATE'S WIFE!!
ROTFLOL! And if it wasn't for capitalism, Soros would not have had the money to fund them. They are idiots.
*sigh*....Why am I never around when idiots strut their stupidity in public...the only time I've ever been near anything like this was when my girlfriend and I went to DC.
There was a PETA group out there protesting chicken nuggets.....needless to say she had to restrain me.
Soros just wants to make sure that no moron is left behind.
Also, why do these idiots think that wearing bandannas will necessarily protect them? Eyes and hairlines can be compared to DMV photos via computers for later identification, can't they?
He (Nixon) was elected in a landslide. These guys are gonna give Bush the same. I was so hoping they'd do this.
Thanks, my bad! LOL!
Hmmmm? I think I remember Rush talking about this some back when the old hippies first surfaced in the protest groups. How funny!!
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my FoxFan list. *Warning: This can be a high-volume ping list at times.
Great graphic! (#62)
She looks like she was hurt worse by the
beanbag than John F'n Kerry ever was in Viet Nam.
I wonder if this is what Bill Clinton looked like
after Hillary threw the ashtray at him.
(If we really were a totalitarian state, the protesters
would already be dead.)
I prefer to say,
"No diving at the shallow end of the gene pool." :-)
Unlike the Swift Boat Veterans,
who are facing the Democratic Slime Machine
in public.
Those who refuse to support and defend a state have no claim to protection by that state. Killing an anarchist or a pacifist should not be defined as "murder" in a legalistic sense. The offense against the state, if any, should be "Using a deadly weapon inside city limits," or "Creating a traffic hazard," or "Endangering bystanders," or other misdemeanor.

"...and making sure President Bush gets re-elected is my FIRST priority. I am devoting my time and effort in doing so."
Seems like the president pretty much has things sewed up with you on the job. Just don't go out in public with your attitude. It could cause a backlash.
"You were in Uptown, weren't you? :)"
Unfortunately not. It's more 'conservative' there. Ha-ha!
We were on the border of the Seward/Cooper neighborhoods just off the River Road. Think U of M law professors and psychologists. Lots of 'two mommy' households and Code Pinkers.
Oh the joy of diversity. NOT!
"Not only do they not know these people exist .. they don't know that most of them are college students who are just there for the bucks,
free food, booze and sex; and could care less what the issue is .. as long as it's a good time."
I agree. A lot of them are college students, which to some degree people always expect to be a little on the more liberal side of issues.
What's scary to me is the fact that most of very rabid lefties I encountered were in their 40's, 50's, 60's and beyond. These people are highly educated, ivory tower types that live very comfortable lives. They must be trying to relive the 'glory' of their youth ala J F'n K. Yeah, those were the days......
Kool-Aid drinkers all.
