"John McCain Hates Bush"

Noticed that Senator John Mc Cain looks a little pained in his advertisements supporting President Bush? Rock Star MOBY says he knows why: "I'm best friends with (John's son) Sid McCain. Hohn McCain HATES President Bush. He's just doing those ads to help the Republicans." We asked Moby if he'd be protesting the convention. "I'm just going to sit by and watch," he said. "I'm not hopeful."

and it was in NEWSMAKER section. Included "Franken urges 'Shout-Out' Against Bush, Band's party draws casino crackdown. 3rd DNA test clears singer of paternity. You know the really "important " news on page 2, section A.

"McCain loves himself. Supporting Bush is not...McCain is not genuine in his support."

You are Right again, as Always.

He is just going through the RINO motions, as usual. The left winging creep!

Moby is the guy who advocated going to conservative websites and starting rumors that you knew weren't true.

Which is why I don't really put much stock into what he says.

"McCain is on the right side of the aisle. So is W."

CFR to silence the NRA is not a right wing doing. Very few seats belong on the right side of the aisle.

...And the frog slowly boils...

You do not know McCain. I did when I lived in AZ. He would be a disaster. He is too hot headed, and TOO liberal.

I did not mean to infer that McCain was right wing. I was trying to show that he was supporting Republicans.

He's just posturing himself to run in 08.

No way. McCain is too old. He'll be 72 in 2008 and he is too sickly. The Republicans would never nominate him.

I'm placing early bets on Rick Santorum running for the nod.

I once felt the same way you do and voted for McCain for senator. I wouldn't repeat that mistake now. McCain is a RINO republican. He loves attention and wants power and is willing to sacrifice values and beliefs to have them.

I was angered and puzzled by this at first. Was there something more to that Keating 5 scandal? Was there something in those FBI files that the Clintons took that he doesn't want the world to know about? Did he marry a liberal woman and she's directing his thinking?

I don't know. I just know that he's not to be trusted. Well...let me re-phrase that. I can't trust him to act in accordance to what he says he believes, but I can trust him to be John McCain.

When he went on SNL, he sang a Steisand tune, quite poorly, and then addressed Babs, saying that perhaps he should not try to do her job, and she should stop trying to do his.

Well, I thought it was funny anyway.

That is funny. I haven't seen that one, but it sounds good.

I think many in AZ once respected John McCain, now we will vote for him, holding our noses.

He is going through the motions in his support for W, McCain has attained RINO status.

In his defense, the media has used him in their game, ex: the VP thing, they twisted the situation, McCain's quotes never implied interest.

Hmmmm... When you put it that way, it does seem unlikely. Maybe he's hoping to take over from Cheney if Cheney resigns. Fat chance of that.

Unless we ignore you. I appreciate your honesty, but(politely)wonder at your reasoning.

Insurance.

Either McCain was going to campaign, or the left was going to use the meat puppet for their own benefit, with or without McCain's permission.

If McCain doesn't come out strong for Bush, it's a campaign ad for the democrats. If he does, it's an ad for the Republicans. This is why McCain is as powerful as he is, because he understands the media and how it works.

But, at the end of the day, McCain only represents McCain, not Arizona or veterans.
