Absolutely not, he's tooo hot headed. he is stuborn to a fault, and refuses to listen to dissenting views.
Here's an entry from Moby's on-line "journal." Maybe someone has time for a rebuttal. He manages to disrespect National Guardsmen and portray dismay that Republicans actually pay to support conservative politicians. Disinformation (lies, misleading lies) is his goal:

i'm sorry, i said i wouldn't write about politics for a while, but this nonsense about veterans criticizing kerry's vietnam record is so offensive that i need to address it. why is it offensive?
a-george bush didn't serve in vietnam, and neither did dick cheney.
dick cheney said, 'i had better things to do' than serve in the military.
and george bush went awol from his national guard service(protecting alabama from enemy attack...).
b-many of these vietnam vets who are now criticizing senator kerry had previously praised him: Associate Press: " George Elliott, one of the Vietnam veterans in the group, flew from his home in Delaware to Boston in 1996 to stand up for Mr. Kerry during a tough re election fight, declaring at a news conference that the action that won Mr. Kerry a Silver Star was "an act of courage." At that same event, Adrian L. Lonsdale, another Vietnam veteran now speaking out against Mr. Kerry, supported him with a statement about the "bravado and courage of the young officers that ran the Swift boats."
"Senator Kerry was no exception," Mr. Lonsdale told the reporters and cameras assembled at the Charlestown Navy Yard. "He was among the finest of those Swift boat drivers."
Mr Elliott also had called Mr. Kerry "unsurpassed," "beyond reproach" and "the acknowledged leader in his peer group."
c-the funding for this is coming from texas political operatives, friends of the bush family, and right wing conservatives: New York Times: "A series of interviews and a review of documents show a web of connections to the Bush family, high-profile Texas political figures and President Bush's chief political aide, Karl Rove.

see, this is why progressive and independent voters in the united states are so offended by the radical right wing of the republican party. the radical right are the same people who criticized max leland's war record(max leland lost both legs and one arm while serving in vietnam)and ran ads comparing max leland to osama bin laden and saddam hussein.
bush's policies have failed. his record is abysmal and he has nothing to run on. so he resorts to lying about the war record of senator kerry, a decorated war hero, to take attention away from the fact that the economy is in terrible shape and the war in iraq is an unmitigated, unnecessary disaster.
i tried to refrain from writing about politics for a while, but when right wing republicans indulge in this sort of disgusting, unethical slander i find it impossible to stay quiet.

Turns out it was not John Sidney McCain but Sid, "first-born daughter of the Republican presidential candidate from Arizona," who had the music stars' phone numbers, and that's because she is a senior publicity director at Capitol Records.

Especially after the caption (think it was maybe martin_fierro) that ended something like 'then McCain proceeded to hump the President's leg.'
I don't think he has anything to do with it either. I think most sane people think Bush is a good man. They have had to listen to crazy democrats blame Bush for everything bad that has happened for a few years now. The media has been blatantly unfair to him as well. The media and the democrats have been crying wolf for the longest time that most people are waking up. The fact that they are protecting liars like Kerry and their lies, while going after people who are speaking out is becoming apparent to people who normally don't bother with politics. The double standard of the mainstream media is doing them more harm than they know.
In short the people are getting sick and tired of lies about Bush. No one likes to see good people get smeared and lied about. Bush isn't evil and the American public knows it.
Moby is foul. Did anyone see the magazine article a while back where he went to great lengths to "prove" he's straight by bragging about a one-night stand he had with a woman he met in a club. It was completely offensive, but like a window into this creep's soul.
Now he's BEST FRIENDS with McCain's son?! What, is this seventh grade or something and he's trying to impress us all by saying he hangs out with the "cool" people?

It was in the Houston Chronicle(krone) this AM. It was attributed to Wire Service.
I don't think McCain hates anyone. He has been out there with the President who he backs. McCain has had his moments and will have more and the DNC loves to take advantage of them. McCain has stated time and time again that he is a Republican and backs this President every step of the way. He doesn't just talk...he is out there on the campaign trail with W.
