After watching the blatant contortions of the mainstream media in their frantic protection of Kerry and realizing that there is no longer any mainstream media watchdog for the leftists in our government....
....Thank God for Free Republic.

has anyone ever done the research on how many soul mates have found each other here?
It's of special interest to me, so I wouldn't mind undertaking the research with you. If it hasn't been done before.
Add MadIvan and myself to the list - probably the most long-distance FReeper relationship in history, at this point, but hopefully that won't be forever.
Cheers,
KaJac

Well, you click onto a newbie's post, wary as can be
It's at the top of Breaking News, so it must be a vanity
Or he thinks that he can fool us all by praising Hannity
Most times you don't let it slide, other times you do
But you'll call him a troll, "Get yourself to DU"
And he'll probably get himself Zotted before Admin Mod is through

Well, I don't know about verses but I will say that the freerepublic website may have had a bigger impact on American political and cultural discourse than anyone ever imagined possible just a year or two ago. God is at work here. Something big is happening in America, with freerepublic at it's center, and it's intimately connected to the conservative realignment that is occuring in American culture as I write. These are truly exciting times! I don't know anything about Mr. Robinson, but I can say from observing the growth of this site that he has served his country honorably and effectively. I would not be surprised to discover that this is not the first time he has served so well. Whoever you are, thank you, 'O faithful servant.

Being in a business where I basically work for nothing, (other than the sheer joy of working), which is one reason I consider myself at least four freepathons behind, I can certainly appreciate Jim Robinson and all he has done for this country, and its people in ways that cannot be measured.
The returns should/could/might/oughta be more financialy rewarding, but it is those "ways that cannot be measured", where the true value of service to fellow man is registered, and Jim Robinson, sits right at the top of my scale of the measure of man.
Thanks Jim for an education in the last seven years that exceeds anything I am aware of in the secular world, and without the secular spin. IOW, Alamo-Girl, I agree completely with your "Owed to Jim Robinson".
