Excellent--- this is the first poll post Swiftie I've seen so far that shows Kerry's boat taking water.

Don't know much about this poll, but they all seem to be moving in W's direction!

IBD/TIPP poll did show a post-convention bounce for Kerry, which now appears to be fading. May or may not be Swifties.

This is exactly what we needed heading into the convention.

Although W's numbers are still too low at 44%, the Swifties ads have dramatically softened Fn's support. If we run a strong convention, we can convince the swing voters to stay with the President and he can open up a lead. Then, we will really see the RATs panic.

I can't wait.

Kerry is sunk, pardon the pun. The Drudge phone call report is merely the latest evidence of his total detachment from reality. Think about it for a moment: he actually asked why they are doing this and offered "but i was talking about everyone else, not swifties". This man needs psychological help.

He does need help. I think that all the fame he got after he returned from the war went to his head. He started believing that he was Audie Murphy instead of the Major Frank Burns type that he sounds like. I tell you, if I saw this pompous prig strutting around in the jungle with a camera crew filming my "heroism," complete with fake gunfire, I seriously might have busted a gut laughing.

I had assumed that the reason no polls had been reported recently is that Kerry's numbers had been slipping during the past 2 weeks. This just confirms it.

Don't discount the potential power of these phone calls. If Kerry can bully/threaten one Vet into flipping, the media will run with it 24/7.

I can't either but I live in LA. There's a lot of stupidity in the air.

Says a lot about our current culture.

Soon we'll be voting ourselves tax increases.

Hang in there, we're gonna WIN.

Well, I was talking to my sister recently and I asked her who she was going to vote for. She said Kerry. I was stunned. I mentioned this to my husband and he said "Well, I don't mean anything nasty, but I always thought your sister was stupid". There was a time when she collected welfare. I had to agree.

Then a friend of ours told me she was voting for Kerry. I asked her if she was crazy. She saw where I was coming from and said "all politicians are crooked - they don't care anything about us". Another stupid. She works in a nursing home for elderly folks.

Then my husband and I ran into another friend and we started talking about the upcoming election. My husband mentioned Laura Bush. My husband said compared to Mrs. Heinz Kerry, that Laura has so much class and makes a marvelous First Lady. He said Mrs. Heinz Kerry always looks like a slob to him and slightly insane. This friend agreed about Laura Bush, but said "She has more class than her husband". He's a school teacher and that says it all.

Finally, discussing the upcoming election with another friend he asked, bluntly, who are you voting for and we told him President Bush. He said, "Thank God - I keep hearing so many people are going to vote for Kerry and I've finally figured out why. They are all losers from the get-go. And because they are losers they want Kerry to take care of them." And he's quite right. This guy and his wife owned a bar and restaurant for many years and worked like dogs to make it a success. Then they decided to sell it and go into the antiques and collectibles business. They work hard at this business too and are quite successful. I also don't understand how Lurch could be tied with President Bush, but I hope something I said here will help you understand. Also, the people I quote here are all white, and non-Jewish. I'ts frightening.
