Since he didn't win his 3 purple hearts legitimately, he should be sent back to Vietnam to finish up his tour by himself.

It's going to be interesting watching the libs do the two step on this one. Their man just pooped a big stinky one that they are going to have a hard time covering-up.

Kerry's campaign now says is possible first Purple Heart was awarded for unintentional self-inflicted wound... Should have come clean from the beginning. This will keep the issue in play until the election.
Carville and Matthews, this bump's for you!

Fred Barnes mentioned this last night on Fox.
Kerry even flip-flopped on his under enemy fire charade.
To: HawkeyeLonewolf
This had been stated before but not persued by the media.
As told by Cockburn and St. Clair, in "an entry from his diary about a subsequent excursion, written on December 11, 1968, nine days after the incident that got Kerry his medal," Kerry asserted that his crew remained cocky and feeling invincible "because we hadn't been shot at yet, and Americans at war who haven't been shot at yet are allowed to be cocky." Brinkley cites this same entry, but avoids assigning it a date. That might be too obvious, apparently.
Regardless, this plainly reads as an admission that two weeks after a purported firefight, Kerry in fact remained an American at war who had yet to face combat. Given that Kerry's boatmates that night also question the presence of hostile fire, this should settle things. Voters can be spared surrogates lacking first-hand knowledge who are sent to shout down eyewitness testimony.

This information leads to only one conclusion:
Kerry knowingly accepted a Purple Heart on wrongful grounds,
and thus wrongfully left Vietnam early.
That's gold. Gold!

In Kerry's own journal written 9 days later, he writes he and his crew, quote, 'hadn't been shot at yet'... "What I meant by that was we hadn't been shot at THAT day. We'd actually been shot at before we weren't shot at...."

Kerry never foresaw computers and the Internet for almost instantaneous information retrieval. He thought his embellishments, deceptions, lies would never be revealed.
As with his flipflopping on many issues, his storytelling of his heroics vary from audience to audience, from venue to venue, in a politically opportunist manner. Kerry has told the Christmas in Cambodia story some 50 times in the last 35 years. Now, his campaign admits that it may not be completely true.
Kerry and his campaign has, in the last few weeks, come up with around a dozen varying versions of the Christmas story.
Kerry has a definite, discernible pattern--of embellishments and outright lies.
