A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

"MA....He's touching me!!"
The cartoon above was inspired by a post I read last week on another thread. With all the crying that kerry is doing about the brave Swift Boat Vets speaking out, a FReeper named jamaly made the following comment:
"There should be editorial cartoons in every newspaper showing Kerry as a crybaby in diapers with a bonnet on, a bib around his neck, a rattler in his hand and great big tears rolling down his face. He should be sitting on Mama T's lap begging her to stop that mean President Bush! Man oh man, I wish I could draw!"
Though caricatures are not 'my thing', I took his suggestion, but it was easier without the bonnet, etc. ('besides, wouldn't want to muss up that hair. LOL)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The drawings below are 'my thing'. (Though it's been a few years since I did them and they've been posted many times, I just needed something else to fill this post!) :)
Feel free to save and use any of the graphics. Have a Terrific Tuesday, and thanks for dropping in!
Thanks, Mixer!
1) Click on the graphic to open the Calendar. 2) Once there you can click on any month and even click to the right to go into next year. Once you are in the month that you joined FR you will need to click on the number in the calendar and then an add item screen will come up. 3) In the next box enter your name in the "Calendar Text" field and then click on submit. 4) If any of the screens fail to load simply click on refresh in your browser and that will usually fix it. 5) If all else fails or simply if you want me to do this for you send me a FReepmail and I will gladly do it for you. ~Mixer
Hey, EMB - thanks for those beautiful, beautiful pictures! Wish there had been audio of Airman Welch singing the National Anthem. :)
Really good work Billie. See that you have gone back to the "drawing board" (finally). The pledge looks new too, very creative! Guess we hostesses should let you have the weekend off more often. :) WOULD you?!!!!! LOL!
Seriously, thank you - the "drawing board" was only the cartoon, and I did that yesterday. I actually had put the pledge graphic together a week or so ago and realized the colors would look nice with the background border on the opening post. ((((((((((Aqua)))))))))))
Thank you for posting your drawings, Billie! I hadn't see 3 of them before! They are
wonderful! To say you are talented is an understatement!
If we had a fair Media, they would be pointing out Kerry's whining, and also his traitorous activities, and his hypocricy! It's laughable that Kerry is trying to torment our commander-in-chief into denouncing the Swift Boat Vets, while he himself supports, and is involved with Move On. org, and after he himself lied over and over about our President, pretending our Dubya had been awol! My blood boils over at every wicked thing this creature has done to our dear President! :(
Giz have his vacation write up done yet? :)
Aunt Billie. Sshhhhhssshhhh...I think I'm in the dog house. Don't think I'm going to have it ready until Sept. 8th. Have been just too busy playing with my new little "big" brother. Love - Giz
P.S. And now mom's hogging the computer with something called celebrate living....??????
Thank you for those
glowing words about the graphics, Kitty. Am glad you like them. Seems like I did quite a few in 2000 and 2001 and haven't done any since then I don't think. There may be more you haven't seen linked on my profile page if you have a chance to take a look.
I am getting so tired, as we all are, of the whole two-faced kerry whining, lying, dodging, accusing, flipping, flopping mess going on this campaign. It just makes me sick to my stomach to know that the media is giving him a free pass and attacking and blaming President Bush - for EVERYTHING. It's wrong, and it's sick, and I wish every single one of the biased reporters, TV stations, newspapers would go bankrupt. Every single one of them.
P.S. And now mom's hogging the computer with something called celebrate living....?????? Darn! But you know, it's just as well.....I hate for any of us to spend *too* much time creating new threads right now - there's just way too much going on all over FR - I can't read everything I *want* to read either.
Hello Billie and all the Finest!! :) Your graphic today is priceless!! I had a similar thought Sunday night of having him in a giant diaper after thinking of the old joke about the mother who thought you changed the diaper after it was 26 lbs. Kerry's waaaaay overdue for a change--no wonder he's so cranky. LOL He can say, "I need to be pampered" but not "I need to be changed" and there's a huge difference.
Also thought of the John Wayne toilet paper--it's rough, it's tough and don't take crud off nobody. Then you've got your John Kerry toilet paper--it's pink, it's eco-friendly, and the Soviet grocer will make you wait for hours to receive your allotment if they don't run out first.
Thank you and good afternoon, Miss Donnie. Glad you liked the graphic. I love your Kerry needs to be pampered but he does NOT think he needs changing - so true! So true! Oh, that we were all as wonderful and perfect and heroic as he. {{{{{{{{shudder}}}}}}}}}}
