Galante accusing Kerry of aiding and abetting enemy.
Because of the severe time limitations. Mr Galante is not a professional speaker, which in some ways makes his story all that much more touching and credible. However, if Sean doesn't cut him off and lead to the exact point, he would not be concise enough to get the points across that he wants to, and won't be knowledgeable in how to punctuate them. It's got to be short sound bites, brief quotes, and I think Sean was trying to lead him to get that. I actually thought Sean did a pretty good job.
I knew I read it but couldn't find it.
Nope, heard him this afternoon. He said he was tortured from the time he was captured. He was held for over six years.
Kerry's legacy so far: At least 5,000,000 MURDERED
The country couldn't have a clearer choice...
Will this be aired again? I really hope that he is on again. What a hero.
Colmes treated a former POW with dignity and respect. *applause* Rare for a Dem talking head.
I'll try to do this! Good idea, and you can help ;)
Do you remember when the Nam POW's came back? The planes landing, those men coming down the steps, some of them having to be carried, some limping. Every landing rooted me where I was standing. Tears, cheers, too much to take in. I can't even talk much about it now. I was so glad to have them home. Blearing.
Welcome BTTT
Yeah, but Nordlinger was so weak. I could have whacked Alan around on that issue of the Bush campaign advisor appearing in the Swift Vet commercial (ie: bringing up Kerry's internet campagin director came over from Moveon.org and was responsible for putting the Hitler ad on the net)
I agree and in a way, his pronunciation of that name is the big picture.
Be back later...BUMP
Active duty, yes. But not inactive duty. He was inactive, according to the records on his website.

http://www.johnkerry.com/pdf/jkmilservice/DD214.pdf <-- Same info
http://www.johnkerry.com/pdf/jkmilservice/Honorable_Discharge_From_Reserve.pdf <-- Feb 16, 1978
That last is discharge from Naval Reserve.
That doesn't mean the tortured stop. It just means they had it slightly less hard after 1969.
One worse than the whole lot of them is patiently waiting for her turn in '08.
sorry, typing too quick, discharged from 'active duty'...Gigolo was in the Reserves when testifying before Congress.Stayed in Reserves till late '70's,not sure year.
I've read quite a few of your posts, and you are anything but common. :)
Very somber.
And I will never forget that helicopter on the top of the American Embassy in Saigon.
And the plane that crashed after taking off from Saigon.
And the orphans on that plane.
And the people left behind who were murdered for helping us.
Kerry wants to blame Nixon, but the blame belongs to Johnson and Kerry and his ilk.
