The President met with members of his Security Council and others, at his ranch in Crawford, Texas. After the meeting, he held a press opportunity, and then provided lunch for the press and cameramen attending.
Sigh, that seems to be the main problem with libs and dems...no matter what you say, they can't let their "feelings" and previous "beliefs" go...it's sad. Maybe when your co-worker (and others) is in the voting booth, she'll seriously consider what the stakes are and vote Bush...I can dream, can't I?
It's a good start anyway...maybe you can keep working on your co-worker! :o)
Like in W's case, you've heard all those nasty things that mostly the left says about him.
Yet he never responds in kind or even stoops enough to thier level to attack them.
I know a lot of people wish he would but,I just don't think it's in his character as a Christian.
That is what I wish I could do. be more at ease with myself and more trusting in God and ignore it when people make snide or disrespectful remark about me.
While at the same time not letting people step all over me.
Any news yet if there is going to be a new dose tonight
I could try to "Hannitize" my coworker but they all seem to be set in thier ways.
I hear you there, Pippin! I'm the same way. It's quite hard not to take things personally...You are right on about GWB! He constantly amazes me with his "staying about the frey" attitude and how he shows great patience and love!
The perfect example for all of us!
He must think certain things about those nasty people sometimes, but he would never say them publicly or show it! How he truly acts so Godly proves he's the right man for the job!
I guess we'll keep trying to follow that example!
Hi Pippin!
Sometimes I have a difficult time with the President not coming out and responding to some of the attacks that he gets. While I am screaming at the television, he is behaving in a Christian manner. I just finished reading the new book about President Bush - A Matter of Character. In it there is a discussion between him and one of his staff where the staff member was urging him to get back at someone who had sabotaged him. His response is that he is not going to do the spite thing.
Yeah, snugs is right!
Keep trying on them, Pippin! Spread the truth!
I'm going over!
Hello Guffman!
New dose is up.
See you there.
On my way!
See you there
He's doing what St.Paul said in his letters, by being kind to youe enemies you will be heaping hot coals on thier heads.
I'm gonna try to find that passage in the Bible.
(But I'm sure he reacts a little in private.)
