Thanks for the pics, Truthy!
The president looks pretty well rested (and he deserves it)!
He may be looking a little older, but very healthy and relaxed in that pic!

***Looks like a rough tough cowboy in this picture. ***

He sure does--look at that stance--says he's ready to fight, IMO. It's time to start talking about the real issues. Yes, I know Kerry's character back then is in question, and shows what kind of a girly-man he is . . . but his "stand" on the issues today will be much harder to dispute and much more real to many people.

After the meeting, he held a press opportunity, and then provided lunch for the press and cameramen attending.

"Therefore, if your enemy hungers, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for in so doing, you will reap coals of fire on his head." (end of Romans 12, New Testament, NIV)

RE: Computer problems--$176 and eight days later, my computer is back and working fine . . . the guy removed over 5000 files . . . I don't even want to ask what that all means but apparently was bad. Anyway, all seems to be working here!

I ordered the book last Wednesday and we were gone over the weekend. I was checking our caller ID and noticed that the store had called. It is in. Will get it tomorrow. Our daughter and I went to see my 100 year old mom. She is an amazing lady. She was singing old songs that she learned as a kid when she went to sacred harp singings. Anyone out here know that type of singing? It is by notes instead of words. Very interesting!

Tch Tch, impatient, aren't we?

Some new photos just showed up on Yahoo and I wanted to include them, but that means copying them into my file and proofing them before I put them up.

Here ya go - more photos of the President, his defense team and Barney!

Yes, I know about sacred harp singing. I think there was a special on it on the History Channel or PBS several years ago. It has a very unusual sound, but is very beautiful.

Did you hear O'Neill on Rush??? It was great! Absolutely NO question in his mind about what went on. Did you hear the part about Kerry getting the rice in his butt because he was messing around throwing a grenade into a barrel of rice?

I'm so mad at the John's I could spit. Here they've been demanding the Pres. to denounce the Swiftboad ad for weeks, and today he denounced ALL 527 ads, but was that good enough for them?? Of course not! The "young" John said the Pres. missed the chance. What a jerk. What does he want?? Is this going to be the demise of the Dems? Can Hillary still step in if Kerry bows out?

Hi, Toaster Lady. You're gonna have to start selling them on eBay, you'll have so many!

President Bush, second left, walks out with, from left to right, Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and Joint Chiefs Chairman Richard Myers after their meeting on Bush's ranch Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, in Crawford, Texas. Bush summoned his defense team to his Prairie Chapel Ranch in Texas to map strategy on Iraq. Bush's dog Barney is seen at far left.

President George W. Bush (L) stands with Vice President Dick Cheney as he talks to the press at his ranch in Crawford, Texas, August 23, 2004. Despite an embarrassing failure in their forecasting four years ago, political scientists and economists are again predicting the outcome of the presidential election, and most foresee a win for Bush.
