LOL!
I went to phancy's grandma's house one time, and her grandma made her put dish towels all over her before she could have a bowl of strawberries (in the kitchen)! True!

My thoughts exactly I suspect he has eaten certain things he should not recently while on the road. He has done a lot fund raiser breakfasts and lunches recently I am certain they are constantly monitoring his cholesterol levels. One cannot help worrying though as it was after the last presidential campaign that he had last heart attack again one wonders was he not sticking to his diet during that campaign.
It is gone 1.30am and I must get to bed now as I am going out tomorrow night football (soccer) Arsenal V Blackburn so doubt if I will be up on the dose as I will not get back until gone midnight.
God Bless you all and God Bless America

You are right about your worries, though it's a comfort to know that Cheney must have the best medical team available as well as a wife who deeply cares!
Good Night and God Bless you to you too, snugs--I'm talking to phancy right now and she says the same!
Enjoy your soccer game tomorrow!

Just re-reading the transcript of remarks by Dick Cheney followed by Question and Answer at a Town Hall Meeting
Radisson Quad City Plaza Davenport, Iowa today (yesterday now) you know the one with now "famous question". The whole article is well worth reading it was an excellent speech (the normal bit of fun at the beginning when Lynne introduced him) and some excellent Q and A which they both handled very well.
The picture on Yahoo of them showed him looking very robust and well not as tired as you would think he would I think I would be after the schedule he has had the last few weeks. He must have remarkable Constitution both for someone of his age and when you take into consideration his past health problems.
I always enjoy the bi play bit between Dick and Lynne it shows a deep love and respect by both of them a wonderful example of marriage at its best deep respect but fun too. It is amazing when you consider the pressure their respective public lives/careers must have put their marriage over the years. It has not just a strength and depth but also a freshness not just a comfortable existence which comes with length of time together but they project a couple that after 40 years together are still deeply in love with each other and enjoy each other's company.
I loved the last question where both of them emphasize that the most important thing in life is your family. Today/yesterday Dick Cheney has been courage in stating his firm belief regarding the gay marriage issue his support and love for his daughter even though he must realise that this could cause problems that he is taking slightly different position than the President; though he is still stating he was will support the President in his capacity at VP. Also some people in the party will be upset that he has not condemed his daughter's lifestyle. All in all I may not agree with him but I have great respect in his honesty and commitment to his family. Good bye will look in tonight if I can God Bless you all prayers for you all and for the VP as he undertakes 3 events today.
