Without any evidence, or use of simple commonsense, Michelle Malkin claimed that Swift boat Vets said that Senator John Kerry gave himself a self-inflicted gun shot wound during his combat service in Viet-Nam.
Hardball host, Chris Matthews, challenged Ms. Malkin on this claim, and end up making her look foolish when Matthews made clear he had never heard this from the group and pressed her for information of who told her this.
In desperation, Malkin, dropped a couple of names but it was too late to save herself from the hammering that the Hardball host gave her.
The next day Shaun Hanity expressed his anger over the interview,implying she was treated badly.
But the questions Matthews asked was fair.
Malkin had no business making such a ridiculous claim, without any evidence to back it up.
And she had none.
She wanted to attack Kerry and got more that she bargined for.

Malkin never said 'gunshot' would. Little Crissy did because the dumbass hadn't even read the book. She said 'self inflicted' wound, which is what is alleged in the book.
Apparently the "Media" doesn't "Matter" enough to be truthful.
Now, if he would have asked her about her BOOK (which they used as a "clever" ruse to get her there), the host would have a shred of credibility (until it came time to debate, that is).
And to think, his was the only 24-hour news show available on my cable at the time of the recount. *shudders at the memory*
I saw Michelle on cspan2 Washington Journal. The callers that like her really like her and those that don't like her were really on the attack.
She's going to speak at UC,Berkely in September.
Chris Matthews is NEVER fair. No one here has watched him for a long, long time. Michelle is very intelligent and is a great analyst. She also believes in the truth. What Chris Matthews did is not going to make a bit of difference in her life.

I only watched the cable news channels-briefly, that is-when I was stuck in the Roosevelt Hotel with my fellow NYC Republicans, sweating bullets over the outcome of the presidential race.
I stuck with the network news for most of the recount debacle, although I tried to get most of my info from talk radio and the Internet during the month/month and a half in which Gore was trying to steal the presidency.
