Alright, I've been tasked with the unusual-but very solemn-obligation of reporting back to FreeRepublic Land on the progress of Paul's campaign to unseat that noxious, vile, contemptible, harridan of a congresswoman, Nydia Velasquez; she of the twelfth congressional district, representing constituents in New York County. And Queens County. And Kings County.
I know, I feel for all you people who happen to live in that general vicinity.
Now, you freepers perusing this thread are by this point, probably asking yourselves-quite reasonably, in my estimation-why the Paul Rodriguez campaign would entrust such an important duty to such a complete and utter numbskull. Is the Republican Party in Nydia's district so inept, so flaccid an organization, that it relies upon the assistance rendered by people like me, WHO DON'T EVEN LIVE IN HER DISTRICT?(!)
In short, the answer to your question...yes, it is. That's why we need your help to overcome the inherent obstacles to his success, which would be present in any part of this overwhelmingly Democratic city, but which are particularly formidable in this particular political venue.
If any freepers in the New York/Tri-state area can provide assistance to Paul's campaign, please do so immediately. It can take any number of different forms, from volunteering your time and effort, to parting with some much-needed cash, which can be used to fund Paul's tireless campaign to oust one of this nation's most incompetent, needlessly partisan, not to mention, radical members of the House of Representatives.
So please, if you have any questions, suggestions or advice/assistance to offer, please contact Cacique.
He's Paul's campaign manager, doing the grunt work that's absolutely necessary for any candidate to be successful in the world of competitive politics.
So, the call goes out to one and all, HELP US OUT, BROTHAS AND SISTAS! Paul's been a great friend to FreeRepublic, so hopefully, his generosity will be returned tenfold.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel today's stumping due to some exigent circumstances, which were beyond our control. However, we were out and about yesterday afternoon/night, doing our best to educate potential voters about the benefits of throwing off the liberal, Democratic shackles that have ensnared them for too long.
Thank you for your attention. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
-good times, Gerard.
LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!
Is this the comedian?
I dont know much about this Rodriguez but I would be certain with out knowing the facts that no it is not the comedien. The comedien is a socialist.
There are physical similarities, but that's about it.

I can vouch for Paul--president of the independent Young Republican Club in New York City. Lives in Brooklyn, born in Puerto Rico I believe. Handsome, confident, pleasant, successful self-made man. AND with the right political point of view.
Through perfectly constitutional means?
WOO-HOO!
Count me in.
-good times, G.J.P. (Jr.)
He's a really good guy, and deserves all the support he can get!!

Great on the issue of illegal immigration.
Sounds like a good guy - does he have a website or will he have one in the future?
Have you talked to Congresman Billybob about Paul's campaign? He's the local expert in these matters.
How are we doing with the website?
C'mon man, I know you ain't got nuttin' better to do, so hop on over to this here thread.
We have potential contributors.
Maybe.
If we're lucky.
C'mon!
We need an update on how the campaign's going.
Geez, my Spanish really sucks.

We need some campaign advice.

We've got an interesting congressional campaign a' brewing.
We could sure use your help.

Thanks. I had a feeling the comedian hadn't moved from Calif. to N.Y., but ya never know who's throwing their hat in the ring these days.
Yes, Paul Rodriguez has-figuratively speaking-thrown his hat into the ring.
Any moral (or even better, financial) support that you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Skeptic:
He's gonna lose, bub. It's a fool's errand.
Shut up, you.
