Ya know....I've been mulling over all the publicity that John Kerry has gotten for making his veteran-ness his main strength.
I thought he was full of crap for other reasons before now, but C'mon... how much leadership experience can a Junior Grade Navy Lt. get in four months?
I was USAF/AD (NONCOM) for 13 years. I'm only half joking when I say this, but as a general rule, NO officers got any sincere respect until they had made O-4, and certanly not Leutenants. I restrain myself from being critical of a man who is a Vietnam vet, but seriously...FOUR months?!
As best I can tell, from his own admission, in four months he did learn to cut off ears, and heads...rape pillage and burn. But this certainly doesn't qualify him to be in the position of CINC.
Does anybody know this to be a fact? ...that all he did was four months?

No question, the smoking gun is in Traitor John's post Nam military records; that's what he is protecting.
My bet is that Kerry was courtmartialed and given an other than honorable discharge.
The records he posted (and pulled down) did show a 1978 discharge but there is note of a revision in 2001. There is a couple of DD-214s and a DD-215.
We have to have his Form 180 to get all his real military records (what better way to shut up his critics?). But, he can't do this because it would prove that the government has long thought him to be marginal and even kicked him out of the Navy.
Doesn't the media have any curiosity about the records that should prove he was a hero? Doesn't it seem strange that he'd hide them? Why isn't the mdia as puzzled about Traitor John's records as they were about Bush's? What is Kerry really hiding?
