John Faustus Kerry was born into a world of privilege. As the scion of a high ranking diplomat he spent his childhood in private schools in Switzerland. During the 1950’s when the rest of us were glued to the tube watching Howdy Doody, the Mickey Mouse Club and Ed Sullivan, he was biking Europe. Specifically he, by his own account was biking Berlin, visiting the bunker of Hitler and visiting the Soviet Sector.
At a very young age J. Faustus knew he was destined to be President of the United States. He had the right breeding, the right name, came from the right area of the country and had the proper elitist attitudes.
After being denied a deferment to study in France , J. Faustus joined the navy. He initially intended to avoid combat by joining a little used outfit called the Swift boats, but the unit was activated. Things were not going according to plan and J. Faustus made his deal with Mephistopheles.
To revisit the world of TV of the 1950’s 1960’s, J. Faustus military career most resembled the character of Eddie Haskell. He was inept inflicting 2 wounds by his incompetence in handling grenades and rocket launchers. With higher ranking officers he was ingratiating. He fled when other boats were disabled but he did return to pick up the guy his peeling out flung off.
J. Faustus had an ace in the hole , a plan and a deal with the devil. Many of his injudicious actions were covered by the power of controlling the after action report. His rice in the fanny became enemy combat and his embarrassment became his glory. He fled from action and managed to turn it into heroics worthy of a bronze star.
J. Faustus made a name for himself. He added war hero to his curriculum vitae. He appeared to be just the right man to be president when he had reached the appropriate age.
He returned to the country of his birth if not his heart and viciously turned on the military he served with. His bunk mates became rapists, murderers and torturers. He viciously wounded those he left behind, he stripped them of reputation, of dignity and the gratitude of their country. He consorted with the enemy. He provided blistering fallacious testimony to Congress. He denigrated all of them and made a name and career for himself.
J. Faustus entered the political ring. He served many terms of senator and managed to harm the military many times through his voting . He continued to slander those that served the country in Uniform.
J. Faustus married more money than 50 small businesses could ever earn.
It was his turn to be president. Unfortunately after spending 30 + years as a bleeding heart pacifist something had changed. After spending 30 years undermining the security of the country , it was was attacked. The anti war candidate in the primary floundered and failed. A pacifist could not be elected so J. Faustus trotted out his war hero visage.
From the bays of Louisiana to the forests of Washington, J. Faustus was reminded of Vietnam. No one could forget that he served in Vietnam. Every third sentence contained the words that were previously used to slander. I was in Vietnam.
J. Faustus big day, the convention, he marched onto the stage and saluted. Reporting for duty as if the presidency would be bestowed on him by birth right, by every bit of scheming, and image manipulation . It was preordained.
Things suddenly started to go desperately wrong. The slandered, the defiled, the imprisoned began to speak up. The victims that so long had been silent had found their voices. At first it was a thin , weak sound, but the voice of retribution grew.
J. Faustus tried threat and lawsuit but the voice still grew. Slander had always been an effective weapon and he threw himself full force into it. He challenged their right to own their voices and their histories but the voice still grew. J. Faustus began to fear the voices of the dead would join the others. He threatened first amendment rights of the wronged and drew more attention to his imbroligo.
Mephistopheles did not promise success for eternity. His contract has a time limit. In intervals of 12 like the original Faustus, J. Faustus has had 3 dozen years. Payment is due on the contract. The men he climbed over in his rise to power demand justice

The anti Vietnam Veteran poison spread by Kerry and his ilk have done great damage to America's will to defend itself...
But a core of Americans are rising up to combat the lies...lead by those who fought alongside
Kerry and who know the truth...are leading the charge..
Kerry and his kind are about to be pulled down...
I am glad I lived long enough to see this....
He has missed the mark by spending his spoiled life becoming someone who has earned great disdain from his veteran Peers and now the voters..We already had one lying traitor in office.
Having spent the entire morning reading the various threads relating to the Kerry fiasco, your post impressed me so much I am compelled to draw attention to the fact, not only were the returning servicemen of the US maligned, but the Australian Vietnam Veterans also suffered as the result of Kerry's slander, and are still suffering. There has, to my knowledge, never been a similar example, where men who served their country were so reviled, spat on in public, and portrayed as criminals. The Veteran's hospitals in Australia are filled with men with numerous psychiatric problems as a result of Kerry's filthy lies.
