Bush twins may attend gay wedding - Why are the Bush daughters trying to sabotage Dad's Campaign?

Bush twins may attend gay wedding

August 19, 2004

Could the Bush twins be heading to a gay wedding?

First daughters Jenna and Barbara reportedly have told their eyebrow waxer that "we'd love to come" to his nuptial celebration.

Their father opposes same-sex marriage, and given the twins have been working for his campaign, he might have something to say about their attendance.

Nevertheless, Erwin Gomez, who works at an Elizabeth Arden salon in suburban Washington, told the New York Daily News that he invited the twins to his wedding next month.

"I gave them the party invitation, and they said, 'That sounds great, we'd love to come -- it sounds like a lot of fun,'" Gomez was quoted as saying. "The way they reacted, they were very open-minded."

Like the Bush daughters intend to go to the "weddings" of every eyebrow waxer that invites them. They'd be doing nothing but attending ceremonies!

Haha LOL no doubt. This report from this obvious credible source (sarcasm) is a total nonstory.

Do you have ANY IDEA how hard it is to find a good eyebrow waxer?

I dunno--as hard as it is to find a good bunghole waxer? I don't do either one so I'm at a loss.

The 20 something crowd seem to except others who choose same sex living in sin as an ok thing.

My son and his age group on down to teens have been fed the it's ok lifestyle. The political Gay agenda has suceeded in desensitizing the moral issues of same sex unions for the young kids.

Us Moms speak up though and give them reality checks. They will mature like some of us were young and blind to the taboos of our generations.

THAY FELLAS!!! The twins are dead wrong here. Gays suck and so do islamists. There is nothing "tolerable" about them, despite the cries from the tolerant PC right, or the evil left. They are a scourge on normalcy. We have been sensitized to this evil, among many others. It is time to say NO more!! THAT INCLUDES YOU LEFTIST GAY-LOVING AMERICAN AIRLINES mainline corporations! Isn't Dick Cheney's daughter a lesbian?

Mrs. Cheney is PFLAG isn't she.

God that would throw a wrench in the election if she were to have a lesbian faux wedding bash.

I get the impression that VP Cheney loves his daughter but not her sin.

I love Dick Cheney he seems like such a not BS masculine man. I bet he smells like a real man too.

The last I read Lynn Cheney was against the federal marriage amendment and her husband was for it.

Anyone who bases their vote on what a candidate's children do or not do, is too dumb to vote.

finally a rational comment. the origianl story was that while sitting in the shop the gay guy "asks" the twins if they would like to attend. Waht are they going to say? easier to apologoize for missing than to lose your perks. Kids know how to deal with crashers.

Uou would be a fool to insult your eyebrow waxer while he's working on you. The Bush twins are waiting for Gomez to work on Chelsea - then they'll call and tell him "No way! We absolutely do not condone same sex marriages you perv!"

"The lady who styles my hair does my eyebrows"

Same here. My wife. She's a barber. She usually just trims them while she's cutting my hair, but if she finds a stray "old man eyebrow hair" in between haircuts she just yanks it out. And it damn sure does hurt.

This has already been debunked... The girls were apparently being gracious, but do not intend to attend the wedding.

So they're not supposed to share in their friend's joy because of their dad's politics?! they're adult women who get to make their own decisions, their own friends, and attend the wedding of their chosing. This won't make W look bad, it shows that he raised polite kids that aren't going to let beltway BS get in between them and their friends.

Attending a gay wedding is a bit much. Face it, it's a mockery of God. You can't attend a same-sex wedding and honestly honor God. Let them live their lives gay if they want and tolerate it, but marriage is not acceptable.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of dumb people out here -- how else can you explain 8 years of Clinton and Senator Hillary....Sen. Daschle...Sen. Boxer...Sen. Durbin...the list goes on and on!!!

I can. I love my friends and stand by them through all times of stupidity no matter how imensely daft. They are my friends and I will be there for them, if only to make sure they know I will also be there for them when things inevitably fall apart and they need a shoulder to cry on.

If you can't that's OK, but I can, and I would. I've stood by friends during marriages that should never have happened before, doubtless I'll do it again (some of my friends aren't very good at the concept of "learning experience"), the exact reasons a marriage shouldn't happen are immaterial to me. They're my friends, they're making a mistake, it's doubtless going to blow up in their face, I'll ride the whole storm through to be there at the end and be a good friend.

There are judgement calls we all have to make in life. Standing by God and standing by your friends are pretty universally the right answer. Sometimes, thankfully rarely, they come in conflict. We all gotta make our own call at that moment. I happen to think that if God has a purpose for me it revolves around my intense loyalty to friends, and therefore I'll stand by them. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe when I come to my judgement I'll find God stunned at my stupidity... or maybe not.
