Bush twins may attend gay wedding
August 19, 2004
Could the Bush twins be heading to a gay wedding?
First daughters Jenna and Barbara reportedly have told their eyebrow waxer that "we'd love to come" to his nuptial celebration.
Their father opposes same-sex marriage, and given the twins have been working for his campaign, he might have something to say about their attendance.
Nevertheless, Erwin Gomez, who works at an Elizabeth Arden salon in suburban Washington, told the New York Daily News that he invited the twins to his wedding next month.
"I gave them the party invitation, and they said, 'That sounds great, we'd love to come -- it sounds like a lot of fun,'" Gomez was quoted as saying. "The way they reacted, they were very open-minded."

This is totally stupid if they go, I think their eyewaxer is exaggerating about their exhuberance to jab dad. But just going the press would be all over and the press would say your daughters don't even agree on the issue? These girls should get rid of this eyewax dude and forget the wedding.
If they don't they will lose my respect by intentionally trying to make their father look bad!!!

Why don't they just stay at home and pluck their own danged brows?!?

I'm shocked. One would never expect a male eyebrow waxer to be gay.

I have a funny feeling that Grandma Barbara will stop this one before the poop hits the fan.

Let's not get carried away here folks. The young ladies are not going to the gay wedding. They are just being polite and this is being exaggerated in order to get at their dad.

"That sounds great. We'd love to come."
Sounds like a polite way of saying "Well, we may or may not come, but thanks for the invitation."
Who cares if they go to a reception for a couple of gay guys? They're adults.

It was already made clear yesterday that they won't be attending. Take a chill pill.

The Bush twins aren't going to the wedding. From National Review Online:
BARBARA AND JENNA & THE GAY WEDDING [KJL]
Yesterday it was reported that the Bush twins might be attending an upcoming gay "wedding." But before it becomes an urban legend: I am told by White House insiders that they are not attending. The misunderstanding can be chalked up to the young women being polite people.
To: TheEaglehasLanded
Their friend is gay. The fagola is getting "married." They want to be nice, so they say "Oh, that's wonderful! Yeah, we'll try to be there!"
They might go, they might not. They were being polite to the swish, so as to not scar him.
Lighten up.

They will not go!
These girls are not that dumb.
People say things like this all the time not to hurt people's feelings. And I would think this guy wants a little free publicity, with his name-dropping. I think he probably lost a couple of clients with his big mouth.

Do you have ANY IDEA how hard it is to find a good eyebrow waxer?
To: TheEaglehasLanded
Lying is second nature to most homos. Especially when they're discussing republicans. So I'm not buying the eyebrow waxer's story... any more than I'm buying Golan Cipel's story that he's really not a fudge packer.
The Bush girls will not attend this wedding!
