MORE KERRY LIES from TOUR OF DUTY, NOW FROM THE GRIDLEY!

http://home.nycap.rr.com/pwcarter/the%20kerry%20page.html

"3. Page 87 has Kerry “shuttling sailors and provisions” between GRIDLEY and KITTY HAWK in a small motor whaleboat out in the Gulf of Tonkin. The regular method of travel between the two ships was via helo. That is how I went over to the KITTY HAWK. If such an event did occur, it would have been unusual and hardly a shuttle."

"4. Later on page 87 Kerry talks about Olongapo in the Philippines. He talks about bloated corpses floating in the river and starving women with babies dying of malnutrition. Now Olongapo was a wild and wooly town that existed solely for the entertainment of the US Navy, but in over three years of calling there, I never saw a single instance of either thing happening. Kerry uncovered this in his first visit. If this was from his letters home then he was certainly writing for dramatic effect. Balderdash."

Kerry talks about Olongapo in the Philippines. He talks about bloated corpses floating in the river and starving women with babies dying of malnutrition.

Now he really needs his ass kicked! Olongapo is a favorite port of many sailors and Marines who served in the Pacific. He knows no level of decency.

I was home ported in Subic (Olongapo) for 2 years on a submarine in 62-64. Lot's of crap in the river but never saw a body. I never saw any starving mothers and babies. That is crap. Also, very few officers ever when into town.

This one's not clear-cut to me. Deck space is pretty limited on a Leahy-class DLG to allow for a helo landing. I don't remember ever having a helo land on the one I was on. We did have two boats aboard - the Captain's gig and the motor whaleboat. I could be wrong on this but I'd expect that any 'shuttling' done with the motor whaleboat would have been with a senior boatswain's mate in charge of the boat rather than an ensign.

Later on page 87 Kerry talks about Olongapo in the Philippines. He talks about bloated corpses floating in the river and starving women with babies dying of malnutrition.

No freaking way. That's ridiculous.

The $hi+ River may have smelled like it, but corpses??? Give me a break.

How the heck could you see ANYTHING floating in S**t River? ;0)

(I hear tell that there are now signs ordering sailors NOT to toss coins in for the kids to dive for... )

Kerry is such a LIAR!

As Grampa Dave says: "Christmas, 1968: Kerry with his Swift Boat Crew
in Scambodia. Kerry is wearing his CIA hat that came from Richard Nixon
a month before Nixon was sworn in as President."

I don't think Kerry would know the truth if it bit him on the a--. Sorry, I know that's not very lady-like but it's the absolute nicest I can be regarding him. :-)
