Great news for W
Count me in this group!
Write your name and address on any yardsigns! It weighs heavily if the culprit is caught.
I think I would prefer some UN bozos rather than Jimmuh! Sarcasm on
Get those bumper stickers on your cars, folks!
When you drive, you will interact with several hundred other people each hour. That type of exposure is priceless.
Besides, more bumper stickers demonstrates strong support and demoralizes the opposition.
John Kerry as some woman's "Big Daddy"?!
I thought that that's what John Kerry looks for in a woman!
I sense increasing momentum for Bush and I see Kerry's campaign faltering. That's enough for me.
I think yard signs are telling too. We were in Tenn just before the election & saw many more Bush signs than Gore signs. I was hopeful that Bush would win Tenn & he did!
Thank God for gutsy gals!, I'm pretty sure you outnumber the libs by a large margin!
What are 527 ADS? dENCO
Chavez would win with write-in votes if Mr. Peanut were doing the counting. Even Kerry isn't far left enough for Carter's tastes. ;~))
527 are organizations defined by the tax code that are able to get around certain campaign finance laws. They will be able to air ads right before the election while the national parties can not. These are mostly left-wing organizations such as Move-on, that have recieved about 50 million dollars mostly from a few multi-million dollar donations from a handful of billionare liberal Bush haters like George Soros.
I am an unmarried woman and, although not bitter, am uncomfortable about it. I would like to be married and still believe God has someone special for me. But even if I were bitter and hopeless, sKerry as President would not console me in the least.
I don't know if you're a Republican, but if you are it may indicate Republicans need to re-think their ideas about women. I know being married is more respectable; it's always been that way throughout time. Or, failing that, at least being a widow. The outreach to women has to be one of the most fertile [!] fields for the Republican party.
In fact, I also ride a public bus to and from work wearing my Bush-Cheney button, a place most don't expect to see our campaign. Let's break out of some stereotypes, okay?
That kind of complacency will bring you either defeat or death!
We are in a fight for the soul of our country and you want to pop another can of beer......?
The GOP should consider changing the night these heavy hitters speak. That would flummox the MSM.
Dear KiloLima ~ The reference to unmarried women supporting Kerry isn't based on any bias on conservatives' part. It is based on several poll results, which have shown that unmarried women support Kerry more than Bush. Married women support Bush more.
Very general observations, no offense intended I'm sure :o)
We have 3 Bush/Chaney stickers on our car.
When we see one of those charity car washes going on we will drive in and donate 2 or 3 bucks without getting our car washed.
It really makes 'em happy while showing how neat us old GOP
geezers are.
I believe that it has a lot to do with the looming sunset of the hated AW Ban.
Funny story. Saw a car with a KERRY sticker and as I got closer saw another bumper sticker that said "How many lives per gallon?"
Of course, this was on a Ford Explorer SUV.
And the polls say this is going to be close?!
It was stated as though unmarried women are not welcome as supporters of the Republican ticket and zerosix added some unflattering adjectives that were probably not part of any poll.
Has anyone ever done a study on their effectiveness? The reason I'm asking is that I live in a first ring suburb. There are plenty of former city folk who have fled the wreckage for the suburbs. Most of them I think don't bother to vote. But if they see the old man across the street is supporting Bush, I'm afraid they'll feel compelled to cancel my vote. Obviously, I'd prefer them to stay home.
I have always put yard signs up in the past, but I've been worrying lately due to some comments that I've gotten that yard signs energize the opposition.
