Over 1,000,000 Anti-War Protestors Planning to Disrupt Republican National Convention in New York

Pro-Troop Organization Set to Fight Back Against “Blame America” Crowd

[New York] -- In just three weeks, thousands of Republican delegates from around America will descend upon New York City for the 2004 Republican National Convention.

While convention delegates will announce their support for the re-election of President George Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, another constituency will also be making its way to New York with a very different agenda.

Anti-war organizations have been planning for several months to organize the largest anti-war rally in U.S. history. And thousands of these “Blame America First” organizers have already arrived in New York, conducting meetings on how to disrupt the Republican National Convention and sabotage the message of support for our troops and the war on terrorism.

By the time the convention starts, organizers hope to have upwards of 1 Million anti-war protestors on hand to disrupt the convention – including promises of acts of civil disobedience and violence.

The pro-troop/pro-war-on-terrorism organization, Move America Forward [website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org], has been monitoring these groups and their intentions to capture the media spotlight.

Over 15,000 members of the news media from throughout the U.S. and the world are expected to be on hand to cover the Republican National Convention, giving anti-war protestors an international audience for their message. And one can be sure the news media will be all too willing to cover the protests.

“These organizations represent the most disturbing elements of the ‘Bash America’ crowd and they clearly are determined to use these protests to attract international media coverage for the anti-war movement,” declared Move America Forward Chairman, Howard Kaloogian.

Kaloogian, a three-term Republican representative in the California legislature who also chaired the Recall Gray Davis Committee says it’s time to fight back with a message of support for our troops and the war on terrorism.

“The stakes are high for our nation and the choices we will make when it comes to fighting the terrorist threat. We cannot allow the fringe of this country to break down public support for our military and the morale of our troops the way they did during the Vietnam War.”

How Move America Forward Plans to Fight Back

Move America Forward has produced a series of television ads, with more in production, that they will begin airing in late August, during the Republican National Convention and throughout the month of September.

The ads urge Americans to stand united in support of our troops and the war on terrorism. You can view the ads at the Move America Forward website by clicking this link: http://www.MoveAmericaForward.org/?Page=AdCampaign

“We have to realize that this is a battle for the hearts and minds of the American public. And since we know the news media will be sympathetic to the message of the anti-war crowd, we will have to broadcast our message direct and unfiltered to the public through the use of television and radio commercials,” said Kaloogian.

Kaloogian says Move America Forward is on a fundraising push for the next several weeks to reach their goal of over $5 million for their national television and radio ad blitz. The group is asking for help from Americans who want to see another voice to balance the lopsided coverage from the mainstream media.

“We’ve done smaller advertising buys to date, having raised hundreds of thousands of dollars, but now the stakes are being raised and we must be ready to respond to the “Blame America First” crowd at every turn.

To make a contribution to help air these ads on national television networks, and on your local television and radio stations, visit the Move America Forward contribution page: http://www.MoveAmericaForward.org/Contribution

True. The likes of George Soros would just charter more buses to bring in their hooligans.

One group of pimps of the election industry (the media) love this. It stirs the pot and creates chaos.

The protesters should understand that the First Amendment gives the Right to Free Speech, but that right does not include breaking the law!

I would have a fleet of C-130s ready to evacuate the law breakers to Bagdad!

I was headed into Penn Station yesterday afternoon walking along the 31st street side and it appeared they were putting up fairly stout steel gates over certain portals on that side- heavy stuff 10 or 12 feet tall. While I was waiting for my train back here [DC] I talked to a couple of policemen about the impending demonstrations. They indicated it would get a little rough during the convention. I am sure they have plenty of additional force waiting in the wings.

Sometimes I think I live in bizarro world where Hoolywood idiots, liberal talking heads, and print media people are fighting Bush and hating America while we try to fight terrorism. And somehow the other side gets traction and respect on cable news shows? Sometimes I think I live in a world gone mad, especailly after 911.

Sometimes it's enough to make me want to do an early check-out...after I do some house cleaning of course.

People have gone mad. They are MORE arrogant, rude, selfish and hateful then they were before 911. It is almost supernatural. I would place the same label on Bush's inappropriate restraint on Iraq, N Korea, Iran, and politically as well.

The world has indeed gone to hell.

Wood shampoos ...

ROFLMAO!!! Funniest thing I've heard all week! Had to explain to office mate why I'm laughing out loud over the mental image of peace protesters getting their heads bashed in.

Notice how the Republicans gave the Democrats their right to speak and a peaceful convention. We showed we had class.
Now look how they're trying to deny the other half of America the same courtesy.
Anyway, this will make the Republicans the normal Americans, and the Democrats a bunch of hate filled creeps. Moderate people would want no association with them.

Poll on Fox today - a 27% increase for Bush by undecided voters because of Swift Boat Vets ad.

Everything the left does is good for Bush.

However, I wonder if the Bush-haters have taken into account that if they cause an attack .. it will only rally the Bush SUPPORTERS to re-elected Bush in an even bigger landslide margin.

Yep.

And may be right next to a missed truck bomb. I wonder if any of them have thought about that. I suppose it's too far over their heads.
Democrats are not deep thinkers.

The ironic thing is that although bin Laden welcomes their show in the streets demonizing Bush, do these protesters think that bin Laden and the Wahabbis like them one whit better than Bush and Rummy? No! Militant Islam despises gays, feminists and hippie slackers. OBL would just as soon incinerate the lot of them. The libs think that with a liberal, Democratic, internationalist government that the terrorists will smile and be placated. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Islamists would consider the NYC protest mobs to be the epitome of the Great Satan infidel world.

ping.

Are you ready for a bunch of morons?

As long as they keep the hell away from me, all will be fine. I don't want to get into any confrontations with these animals and will do my best to avoid that. However, if any one of them lays a hand on me, he or she is going down hard to the ground.

For the most part, they're a bunch of spoiled whiners. Just today, I was reading in the Daily News about how they're pouting and screeching over the fact that the delegates are getting the proverbial red carpet rolled out for them, while the city isn't being as welcoming to the smelly rioters. Well, which group is going to spend money, while the other is trashing the place?

This sort of stuff happened at my college all the time, except that it was Aparthied. I'm sure that the political leaders of South Africa trembled at the might of a dozen unwashed hippies in a small Northern school.

Did we go to the same college? The ones at my school actually took over the administration building. They were expecting to be arrested that day, but instead, the school let them stay in there for days, which freaked them out but good!
