Fox News Reports Bob, not John Kerry Was Vice-Chairman of Intelligence Committee
Fox News

Posted on 08/16/2004 3:23:09 PM PDT by what's up

Fox News just had a news segment where the Kerry campaign, in angry response to Bush claims that Kerry attended few Intelligence briefings, said that Kerry had at one time been the Vice-Chairman of the Intelligence campaign.

In response, the Bush people gleefully (Fox's word) returned fire by saying that it was BOB Kerrey, not JOHN Kerry who was Vice-Chairman of the Intelligence committee.

They will say that John Kerry is also Bob Kerrey

And he will "prove" it by waving a prosthetic leg in the air at all campaign stops.

It's gone. They have yanked the claim that Senator Kerry was Vice Chair of the Intel Committee. It is no longer on their web site.

They have admitted their guilt.

Heck, if the media never calls him on it, he can just borrow other peoples lives and pretend they are his own. J F'n K is a zelig candidate.

"Well, he did stand down the Soviets in the Cuban Missle Crisis. Yep, That Senator JFK from Massachussetts is one heck of a candidate.
He even rescued the crew from his PT-109 before the secret swift boat missions to Cambodia.

Seriously, these guys are so bad it's lamentable.

It reminds me of a comment Nasser made to Ike:
"Sometimes your State Department does things that are so stupid, we can't help but be confused. We just assume that such a ridiculious action on your behalf must be a part of a grand strategy that we are unaware of, and somehow it's all a trap for us."

Ike told him he felt the same way about the State Department sometimes.

A few years ago, Bob Kerrey was hit with allegations of committing atocities in Viet Nam. Effin says HE committed atrocities, too! I think it's an alter-ego thing...like "The JOKER". LOL!

I'm glad FReepers saved it here on this thread for future "historical research".

sweet lord i forgot about that...

and to be honest, I've never seen BOB KERREY and JOHN KERRY in the same room, or same senate hearing......could it be?

No of course not.

They are not the same person.

The reason I've never seen them in the same room is that John Kerry never actually shows up to the senate, ...(ba-dum-ching)

Did you notice that in their "rapid response" that they're still quoting Richard Clarke as if he's credible source.

Richard A. Clarke, who served in counterterrorism posts at the White House until February 2003, also said in an interview to be broadcast tonight on CBS's "60 Minutes" that President Bush has "done a terrible job on the war against terrorism" by failing to capture Osama bin Laden or focus more aggressively on the al Qaeda network. "Frankly, I find it outrageous that the president is running for reelection on the grounds that he's done such great things about terrorism," Clarke said, according to a CBS transcript. "He ignored it. He ignored terrorism for months, when maybe we could have done something to stop 9/11. Maybe. We'll never know." [Washington Post, 3/21/2004]

Ming the merciless? Yep.

But I think you owe Max Von Sydow an apology. You've clearly insulted him!

Thinking about it, what other Max Von Sydow characters does John F'n remind you of?

NOT the priest in the Exorcist, that's for sure!

Leland Gaunt (Satan) in Needful Things? "Hey, these things happen."

Blofeld from Never Say Never Again?

Brewmeister Smith from The Adventures of Bob & Doug McKenzie: Strange Brew?

Jesus from The Greatest Story Ever Told?

Seriously, I can see JF'nK slipping into his fantasy and thinking that he has lived these things.

Kerry should fire his staff. It's always somebody else's fault for Kerry.

I agree. What a disastrous management style. Where did Kerry tell us the buck stopped for Abu Ghraib?
