Fine Santa Monica Dining for the Kerrys

Bonsoir!

Senator Kerry, as your tour over "Flyover Country" continues, it must be really hard on your stomachs. You and the missus are used to the finest cuisine and now have to look like you are eating like the locals. All the little people are so impressed! I know you must have been embarassed by the revelation that you ate on the bus at stop and threw the local food in the garbage. We all saw that you really didn't eat at Wendy's. I mean, everyone thought you were eating at Wendy's, but then you had some take out at a more "substantial" place for some decent food. I know that a wealthy "Uber" class person such as yourself wants to really eat the way you are used to. So, as a service to your campaign, I am doing a little research on your next pitstop on the way to the White House.

After extensive research, it seems that the best restaurant at your next stop in Santa Monica seems to be a place called Gallery Cafe at Bergamot Station. It should make for a decent meal after pretending to eat at some odd looking Santa Monica Pier taco stand. There are many restaurants to choose from in Santa Monica, but not many really French ones. Look, you have to take a bite at Wendy's or at Philly cheese steak stand, but then you have to really DINE. Bon apetit.

Here is the address:

Gallery Cafe at Bergamot Station
2525 Michigan Avenue #A3
Santa Monica, CA 90403
310-828-4001

Your palates shouldn't suffer while you are out on the stump to gain the office you so rich-ly deserve. -And if it costs a little more so what, the campaign is paying for it anyway.

Just trying to help.

Going out to Wendy's is a treat for me. I would have been happy to eat their leftovers. The 2 Americas are the ultra rich like the Kerrys and Edwards and the rest of us working Americans.

Apparently the Kerry's have been eating at Wendy's too much because they had such a heated argument on the the campaign trail that they had seperate bedrooms last night. My goodness!! Could their be trouble in Kerryland??

Fine Santa Monica dining for the Kerrys...

The menu prices lead me to believe this might be a tad out of date...

Thank you!

Incidentally, I eat at Waffle House several times a week. It's much too good for Lurch and Evita.

I suggest Ted Bell's Steakhouse. It's on La Cienega in Beverly Hills, and I'm sure Ted and Kerry would see eye-to-eye on lots of things.

I'm sure there are higher-priced places in Santa Monica. Try something on Montana or Wilshire.

As an alternative, might I suggest this famous dining location:

Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles
1514 North Gower Street
Hollywood, CA 90028
(323) 466-7453
Ambiance: Hearty--Not Heart-Conscious--Diner
