Lanny Davis, on FOX News Hannity and Clones smeared Swift Boat for Truth vet Mr. Gardner by constantly stating his fellow vets never served on Kerry's ship!
It's they're newest trick to smear the truth - make people think Kerry's ship was a destroyer or something - not a "ski" boat with an Evinrude outboard that served side-by-side with other swift boats and CREWS.
The Swift Boat Vet for Truth should take a scale model of their swift boat to all interviews to refute the DNC smear merchants.
I believe there is a length that longer = ship and shorter = boat. As far as the Navy is concerned.
Help me out Navy Vets!
I believe the swift boats are 50 footers. I've skiied behind a lot of boats, but never one that size.
Not navy so I'm not sure how they're distinguished either. Good question though :-)
Thousand foot ore carriers on the Great Lakes are referred to as "boats."
I thought Steve Gardner actually did serve under Kerry on the same boat. I'm pretty sure that's what I heard him say on the radio.
Yep, the latest spin is that if you weren't on the same BOAT as Kerry then you didn't serve with him. You could be under the same command, in the same squadron, on the same river, at the same locatio at the same time and in the same battles as Kerry, but if you weren't on the SAME BOAT, you don't know what went on.
Their attack on the doctor who says that Kerry's wounds were accidentally self inflicted is not that he didn't treat the wounds but that he didn't SIGN the treatment form. It is very common for a nurse or corpsman or even another doctor to review the forms and then sign them in the military.
How many people served in Bush's airplane in the National Guard?
The same old dimocrap game - redefine words. Now "served" means that you were on the same boat, not in the same unit. Total BS.
Picture of "RD2 Joe Muharsky" water skiing behind PCF 94 March 1969. Pictured is signed by Senator John Kerry who was a LTJG in Coastal Division 11.
Side by side = served TOGETHER in my book.
Libs and media attempts to stifle this story are backfiring -- "Unfit to Command" is at #1 on Amazon.com today!!
"My name is Steve Gardner. I served in 1966 and 1967 on my first tour of duty in Vietnam on Swift boats, and I did my second tour in '68 and '69, involved with John Kerry in the last 2 1/2 months of my tour. The John Kerry that I know is not the John Kerry that everybody else is portraying. I served alongside him and behind him, five feet away from him in a gun tub, and watched as he made indecisive moves with our boat, put our boats in jeopardy, put our crews in jeopardy... if a man like that can't handle that 6-man crew boat, how can you expect him to be our Commander-in-Chief?"
? Steven Gardner
P.S. By Kerry's own journal he admits that the shrapnel in his ass from the grenade in the rice bin was his own fault. A doctor removed kernals of rice from his ass and documented it in the medical records that Kerry refuses to release. Yet, a few weeks later, Kerry lies and submits himself for the PH claiming that he got the wound from a water loctated mine explosion.
How did he get shrapnel in his ass if he was aboard the boat?
The gravel voiced sqirming Susan Estrich used the same method on a Vet Against Kerry. I wish someone would give her a can of Raid so she could get rid of those ants in her pants.
Right you are.
Ask any corpsman, if his name appears on ANY treatment form. He does what he can in the field and passes the guy back to the field hospital or aid station. It is there that any paper work is started, and the attending physician signs the forms.
I didn't see ol' Lanny complaining when the 'Rat Hit Squad was smearing W on his military service...
These clowns are so hypocritical and transparent that it would be comical if it they weren't so pitiful...
