Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that nothing is outside Your control ... You send the wind and the rain wherever You wish, and according to Your Word, Your voice can be heard in the thunder and lightning. Father, we are nothing before Your awesome power, yet as children of the Living Lord, we can approach the Throne of Grace and lay our petitions before You. And so we do in this time of crisis as the storms gather across our country. May it be, Merciful Father, that You would spare the lives of our citizens ... let none be lost to this devastation, O God, but quicken our hearts to the Author of wind and rain and let us praise You as Creator and Sustainer, as One who rescues the perishing. Turn aside the path of the storm ... calm the seas and quiet the winds ... bring a hush to the land, that we might know that the hand of God is upon us. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

Thank yo Pegita for your wonderful prayers!

I know in my heart that our Lord answers all prayers. Sometimes the answer is no. We must always accept the fact that our Lord brings trials and tribulations into our lives to make us stronger.

All is done for the glorification of our Lord. It is not for us to understand. At least, not yet.
