My daughter is directly in the path of this storm in Orlando. You folks will remember she was just married a moth ago and this is her first hurricane in her own home. They haven't got shutters yet, just got the burglar alarm yesterday. My wife and i are pretty worried about them. I'm afraid they don't have enough supplies and water. Needing prayers for Kelly & Nathan.

The Criminal Intelligence Service Nova Scotia, Canada, reported two
bottled water contamination incidents.

On Tuesday, July 27th, The Ontario Court of Justice (judge) received a
case of bottled water by mail. The water, labeled Nestle, purported to
be promotional and had a note asking the judge to distribute samples to
his staff. An investigation has found the bottles to be contaminated
with an unknown substance. It is believed to be similar to a promotion
investigated a week before by the Toronto Police in which two modeling
agencies received similar packages also tampered with.

No further information is available at this time.

DUBAI, Aug 12: Pakistani Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayat on Thursday said that his country's capture of top Al Qaeda suspects has brought Islamabad closer to the arrest of the terror network's chief, Osama bin Laden.

Pakistan has already penetrated the network, he said. "Undoubtedly, we have received some information and all the arrests at the Al Qaeda leadership level bring us closer toward reaching the desired objective," Mr Faisal told Al-Arabiya satellite television.

He said Pakistan's objective "is not only the arrest of Osama and (his number two Ayman) al-Zawahiri, but also the final uprooting of this network and its collaborators.....

2 TURKISH MEN JUMP OFF SHIP DOCKED IN CONN., SEARCH UNDER WAY

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- State homeland security and U.S. Coast Guard officials were searching the waterfront Friday for two Turkish men who jumped off a ship docked in New Haven harbor.

"We are looking at it as a security incident," Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Alan Blume said.

Two crew members were discovered missing early Friday morning from a Turkish ship bringing steel into the harbor, Blume said. They apparently made off with two life vests, which were discovered on shore Tuesday, he said.

Blume said Coast Guard officials were searching the ship Friday afternoon. The vessel was legally in the harbor and had filed all appropriate paperwork, he said.

New Haven police Sgt. Ariel Melendez said city police are on the lookout for the men. Trooper One, the state's helicopter, was also called to assist the search.

Connecticut Homeland Security Director John Buturla, who was briefing state lawmakers on the state's security situation when the search began, said he was receiving regularly updates from officers at the scene.
