Threat Matrix: Daily Terror Threat - Thread SEVENTEEN
World Net Daily ^ | 8-10-04 | Paul Sperry

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

With the nation on high alert for al-Qaida terrorists, the Department of Homeland Security is putting its border officers through "etiquette" classes to soften their image and make them less threatening to arriving foreign immigrants, WorldNetDaily has learned.

Car carriers, etc. I hate to think what would happen if the goblins got access to every aspect of our transportation infrastructure.

But they have access to every aspect...as employees. They are among us.

An interesting concern, in light of recent threats against NYC tourist helicopters, no? When I first heard this, I thought.."hmmm..the bad guys must be getting desperate"..

A helicopter into a building..no biggie.

Now, a helicopter with someone in control dumping something over a major metro area..

Hi All-

First time on any of the Threat Matrix series of threads, so I'll try not to make an idiot of myself...and I do mean series and not "series!"

Posted by HipShot:
...A preliminary bio attack would leave the goblins free to do other things..."

Wouldn't a terrorist prefer to conduct a violent attack first so that they could ensure they're not infected themselves by a biological attack? If I had to put my dirtbag terrorist thinking cap on, I would wager they would seek to sicken those who may already be weakened by injury. If the terrorists themselves are too sick to drive, fly, or run, they would be worthless to their cell leaders.

The terrorist wouldn't care what happens to him/her as long as all phases of their component of the mission was completed.

I've seen numerous helpful tips all across this site so I will add mine:

Being a frequent business traveller, I always pack my power cord for my laptop at the top of my briefcase. The power converter box can be a good weapon when swung, and the cords themselves would be handy to subdue someone. Tied up, strangled, etc.

If that was true in this case, why the camera and not a suicide bomb?

Sending the money back is an indication to me that this particular guy's work was done or almost done . . . just because he was doing the recon does not mean he would be the actual bomber . . . perhaps he specializes in intelligence (and, yes, I hope all their intelligence guys are as dumb as him) . . .

I'm talking about basics, Bobibutu. I should have explained better. Most everyone here knows my position on PC and where my loyalties lie.

This is what I meant:

Simple things like allowing the Border Patrol to do their job. Securing the borders. Firing Norman Mineta. Ignoring political concerns where security is involved.

It's the PC disease I'm talking about; the one that seems to have handcuffed our ability to properly prioritize.

I have no intention or desire to demean the efforts of those who do their jobs and do it well; I wish only to remove the handcuffs.

I have no doubt that they're already in deadly positions.

I think I'd buy judicial meanz or HipShot's (I can't remember which posted this) idea that they'd use the choppers to dump a load of something into the a/c air handlers of a major office building. But I think a general dump over the city would be wasted. I say this because of the incredibly strong air currents that flow in and around those buildings. Any agent would be rapidly dispersed and therefore rendered ineffective by dilution. It's like when they hit you with tear gas in the army the first aid is always to face into the wind and the effects will quickly dissipate.

Hi R_H_W-

This is the same reason that I pack an extra belt or two in an easy-to-reach section of my carry-on baggage. It can act as a flail and subsequently be used to secure any dirtbag hijackers to their chairs, assuming they survive the beating administered by angry passengers.

Welcome!

That depends entirely on where they want to operate and what type of bio was used. They could be innoculated. The could disperse in 20-30 airports, then place Cs or Ns in metro areas. Different projects.

It's going to be hard for them to do much on the ground here after the next strike. The backlash from citizens may prevent them from ever climbing out of their holes again.

So the bottom line is that the intel guys have their own major fund, unrelated to the ops fund?

I do not have a link for you however if memory serves me there was nothing proved in the now completed investigation.

I don't have a link either, but I believe I read just in the last week or so that they couldn't find any connection. Seems to be a common theme these days.

Now a helicopter with a nuke aboard exploding at somewhere above ground level would cause devistation across the entire city.

Water balloons dropped from a couple thousand feet? Dropped off of buildings?

Silly, huh.
