The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.
"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."
We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

(IsraelNN.com) Police report that two of three terrorists were apprehended while the third remains at large at this time. As a result, the Jerusalem terror alert remains in effect at this hour as the manhunt continues in the hope of preventing a major terror attack in the capital.
The alert was implemented on Wednesday afternoon at about 14:00.

FLORENCE, Ky. -- A cargo plane crashed at a golf course early Friday less than a mile from its planned landing site at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, killing the co-pilot, authorities said.
The pilot, the only other person on board, walked away from the crash and was taken to a hospital, airport spokesman Ted Bushelman said.
The co-pilot's body was found after daybreak, several hours after the crash at about 1 a.m., Bushelman said.
Authorities had not identified either person.
The twin-engine turboprop Convair 580 owned by Air Tahoma took off Thursday night from Memphis, Tenn., Bushelman said.
The pilot was doing OK and was at University Hospital in Cincinnati for observation, said Chris Trott, spokesman for Air Tahoma. Both people are from the Memphis area. The hospital refused to give the pilot's condition.
Air Tahoma, based at Rickenbacker Airport in central Ohio, is a contractor for Plantation, Fla.-based DHL air cargo company and owns 13 other planes, Trott said.
The FBI was investigating and told local authorities not to touch anything at the crash scene, Bushelman said. Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board were expected to arrive later Friday.

A missing Yemeni student attending a Purdue University summer program was detained on a visa violation after he turned up Thursday in New York City, FBI and university officials said.
Anwar Saleh Ahmed Al-Awdi, 18, surrendered at a federal office building late Thursday afternoon.

Purdue Vice President Joseph Bennett said Al-Awdi apparently didn't realize the ramifications of violating his special student visa.
Al-Awdi left West Lafayette Aug. 6 with friends for the Detroit area but failed to return Sunday.
On Thursday, he made phone calls to people at Purdue.
"He wanted to come back. He didn't know how to do it," Bennett said. "He was advised to go someplace where somebody could get him back on track."
Jim Davis, acting agent in charge of the FBI's Indiana office, said Al-Awdi was taken into custody by the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force there. But the task force was involved solely because of the visa violation. The agency had no information linking him to any terrorism activity, Davis said.
The 18 students in the program are high school graduates identified as potential leaders in their Middle Eastern countries. The program seeks to teach them about the United States with classroom instruction on subjects such as government, economics and freedom of the press. Side trips have included the Indiana State Fair and a visit Monday to heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali's home in Berrien Springs, Mich.
"They are a beautiful bunch of students," said Muhammad Siddeeq, a retired Indianapolis Public Schools teacher who met the students in Indianapolis and accompanied them to Berrien Springs.
Bennett said Al-Awdi will not rejoin the group. He likely will be sent directly home.

Missing Radioactive Gauge

Little Rock -- Jared Thompson, Health Physicist in the Office of Radiation Control and Emergency Management, Arkansas Department of Health, announced tonight that one radioactive gauge is missing from Materials Testing of Arkansas. The gauge could pose a health risk to persons if handled or carried for an extended period of time. The missing gauge was in a locked yellow transportation case and weighs approximately 85 pounds. The gauge was lost on Amity Road near Southern Star Concrete Company in Conway, Arkansas. Anyone finding this gauge should IMMEDIATELY report it to the nearest police authority or phone 1-800-633-1735 and ask for Jared Thompson.
The gauge is described as a Troxler Electronic Laboratory Model 3430 moisture density gauge containing 9 millicuries of Cesium-137 and 44 millicures of Americium-241:Beryllium.
State Police, local government officials and law enforcement agencies, the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Office of Emergency Services have also been notified.

John Kerry told Democrats gathered in Boston two weeks ago that he defended his country as a young soldier in Vietnam and he would defend it again as president.
But as Michael Dukakis' Lieutenant Governor, Kerry authored an executive order that said the state of Massachussetts would refuse to take part in any civil defense efforts in response to a nuclear attack on America.
The presidential candidate was an ardent proponent of the nuclear freeze at the time, and viewed Cold War civil defense preparations as an attempt to delude the American people into thinking a nuclear exchange was survivable.
Lt. Gov. Kerry's executive order on behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts read in part:
"Whereas the existing and potential strength of nuclear weapons is such that nuclear war can neither be won nor survived, it can only be prevented; and Whereas the only effective defense against the horrors of nuclear weapons lies in their elimination and in the prevention of nuclear war or attacks, [the Commonwealth of Massachusetts] shall seek to ensure the safety of its citizens by pursuit of policies reflecting a serious commitment to prevention of nuclear war."
"Such policies," the Kerry directive continued, "shall include education of citizens concerning the real nature of nuclear war and efforts to influence national policy towards negotiation of an end to the nuclear-arms race."
The Kerry order stated emphatically, however: "No funds shall be expended by the Commonwealth for crisis relocation planning for nuclear war."
Monica Conyngham, Lt. Gov. Kerry's spokeswoman at the time, defended the controversial document, telling reporters, ''We believe that (evacuation) plans are absolutely futile and that there are no safehavens from nuclear war.''
Gov. Dukakis signed Kerry's "no nuclear defense" executive order into law on June 28, 1984.
