Hugh Hewitt just finished playing an entire story from Fox News wherein Carl Cameron confronted the Kerry campaign regarding his Cambodia claims.
Intially, they denied that Kerry had ever said he was in Cambodia. So Carl presented them with the Senate Record and the Boston Globe article where he most unambiguously did so. They said they would have to get back to him on this one, but sticks to their story that he was near Cambodia, but not actually in Cambodia.
THIS STORY HAS LEGS!

i'm just watching "Hardball" because General Franks is on. :)
Crafty Carl Cameron Calmly Confronts KOOKY Kerry Campaign Concerning Confusing CLEARLY Contradictory Cambodian Christmas Combat Claims, Campaign Cautiously Considering Collaborative Query Context...Quixotically consults Condit. Calamitous Consequences Could Commence Commensurately.
They just repeated the Cameron report on Shep Smith's show.
nevermind...
You should be a copy-editor... Nice Title.
It depends on what you mean by in. If you mean "inside of", then no, he wasn't in Cambodia - but that isn't what he meant. If by in you mean "not in" then that is eaxactly what Kerry meant.LOL.
I heard the upcoming spin from Mora Liarson today. She made some comment about "maybe Kerry thought he was in Cambodia but later discovered that he wasn't"
I guess I should have said more dangerous to this country than Clinton was.
KERRY IS A LIAR AND IT'S ON RECORD!!!
Dwight was in the 50's, not 60's.
THANX.
I agree. Curious that Hagel would seem to cast aspergions on McLame.
By the time Moira Liasson was on the solution had been found. Kerry thought he was in Cambodia. Who knows where is where over there?
Pathetic attempt but she tried. One can only wonder in amazement what would provoke such a woman ti lie for the party like she does every night.
She bore Clinton Child you know.

Here's a copy of my email to them this afternoon at 4:10 PM:

Subject: The Show Tonight
Greetings to Michel Martin,
I understand you will be the anchor as correspondents Jake Tapper and Mike Cerre address the Swift-Boat controversy tonight on the show. (Tonight on Nightline--The Swift Boat controversy ABC News Nightline | 8/9/2004 | Larry Sievers

I hope you'll all be taking the advice of Larry Sabato who appeared on Fox News Channel earlier today when he said
this (paraphrased):
"Someone is lying. It is the responsibility of serious minded, objective journalists to dig up the truth of this matter. Politics is a tough, rough and tumble business, but it has to be that way. The voters have a right to know who is lying, and the liar(s) should pay the price."
I'm enclosing a couple of sources below that you may be able to use to do just that.
Warm regards,

MICHAEL KRANISH, THE GLOBE, AND THE CAMPAIGN BOOK [08/09 01:54 PM]
Want to see something that complicated this issue? When Kranish was contracted to write the introduction, the in-progress book was issued an ISBN, or unique machine-readable identification number, of 1586483145.
According to the publisher, Public Affairs, when it struck a deal to publish the campaign's platform, it dropped its plans to publish the book with Kranish's introduction.
Then they published Kerry's campaign book. As a FreeRepublic reader has noted, the Kerry-Edwards campaign book, has an ISBN of...
...1586483145.
The upshot? The publisher, Public Affairs, has just created a big headache for the Globe and Michael Kranish, by initially touting an independent book with a reporter covering Kerry involved, and then publishing Kerry's campaign book under the same number. Now Amazon has the new book with the old cover and Kranish is being called a Kerry campaign shill.
Kranish may have misquoted Elliott in fact, it seems pretty clear that Kranish interpreted some of Elliott's statements about wishing to reword the specifics of his affidavit about Kerry as a recanting of his entire criticism but he's not a paid operative of the Democratic campaign.

Here's something more on the Boston Globe story claiming that its reporter Kranish was not connected to the Kerry/Edwards official campaign bio:
BOTH THE OLD KRANISH COVER AND THE NEW KERRY/EDWARDS COVER HAVE THE EXACT SAME ISBN NUMBER ACCORDING TO THE PUBLISHER, AMAZON, AND BARNES AND NOBLE. If these sites are accurate, the books are connected as revisions!
ISBN's are unique identification numbers given to every book that comes out for identification purposes. No two different books have the same ISBN. Only books that are identical do. If the numbers are accurate this should mean that, just as the New York Daily News published, the new Kerry/Edwards book is a revised substitute for the Kranish one. In other words, Drudge and all the others who originally reported on Kranish's tie to the project were right.
Compare them and you will see they are one and the same:
ISBN FOR KRANISH COVER ACCORDING TO BARNES AND NOBLE: 1586483145
ISBN FOR KRANISH COVER ACCORDING TO PUBLISHER SITE CACHE: 1-58648-314-5
ISBN FOR REVISED KERRY EDWARDS COVER ACCORDING TO PUBLISHER SITE RIGHT NOW: 1-58648-314-5
ISBN FOR REVISED KERRY EDWARDS COVER ACCORDING TO AMAZON: 1586483145

Are you saying he visited the troops, or the wounded, or comforted the families? I must have missed that
Amazon has it down for an August 15th shipping date. But for all I know there may be legitimate bottle necks in getting this book out in a timely fashion.
Publisher: Regnery Publishing, Inc.; (August 15, 2004)
That title could be made into a terrific cartoon book cover for kerry's Vietnam memoirs.
I love the smell of Purple Hearts in the morning.
Corny.
The Heat is On....a bit...finally....even Britt and Mora were conceding it invites investigation of lies and character. Fred was salivating finally.
And now I hear Nightline is giving it a looksee...amazing.
Critic.
No mas! You win!
(Can't believe I forgot Cuomo, Clintom, Carer and Catro.)
