I have just received an Email from a group that call themselves Swift Boat Vets Dishonorable. Apparently they have a list of a lot of people who have posted on Swiftboat Vets for Truth and are sending out threatening emails to these members. Other individuals on the Swiftboats site are also getting their email. Check out the Vet forum of Swiftboat Vets for Truth for more information. I have shot a few emails back and forth with these guys and as you might expect, they sound like a bunch of kids using their parents computer or the typical Kerry supporter. This is just another indication that the Swiftboat add is really making them desperate.

A hit to a website registers the IP address the hit came from. This does not "reverse resolve" into an e-mail address, so threats of getting spammed are iffy.

Your IP address will resolve to a domain name (the part -after- the @), but cannot determine (as in it is impossible to determine) the part of your e-mail addy before the @.

Obviously the SwiftBoat Vets are getting to Kerry and his Campaign. The Kerry Campaign is going to go all out to discredit these men.

I have had a lot of trouble reaching their site over the last day. I have little doubt it is Denial of Service attacks from the scum liberals.

I can only hope they will continue with the march of truth. They are very brave. As their service in Vietnam has already shown.

A TON of sites with the words "Swift" in the URL were recorded around that date. It's interesting to say the least. Unfortunately, the phrase "Smear boat" has made the rounds far and wide, so it won't narrow the search much.

Apparently they are operating as a 527, and that info is required by federal law.

The trial lawyers would max out their personal limits and then have their file clerks, law clerks and secretaries donate the max in their names. This helps to limit that.

Threatening emails are considered terroistic threats. The Police and FBI are interested in them. Also forward them to the originating ISP, they will promptly cancel the fools acount. Don't threaten back. Just inform the idiot of your actions.

I'm tired of listening to their idle threats, these namecallers who find nothing worth a real fight because they are yellow-bellied cowards.

When I donated to Bush/Cheney I forgot to fill in that part and they sent a letter back saying:

Funds received in response to this solicitation will be subject to federal contribution limits. Federal election law requires us to report the following information. Occupation, Employer, etc.

We are retired so I just put that in for occupation. I would imagine any organization collecting donations has to do this.
