Not good.
Turbo-legal harassment is a funny thing. It can make many a soul say that black is white. Looks like this guy caved under threat of lawsuit (which is how the Demoncrats do their dirty work).
I wonder what they did to blackmail him into a retraction.
They got to him. The Fear Mafia.
Some big burly men showed up at his house, probably...
Hmmm
Here's a link to an article regarding the retraction

Hired Goons. They are very good at "fixing" things.
The retraction will get major play in the press-the ad itself won't.
Paid off? I doubt it - Super Heavy THREATS against his family? Most likely.
The only other explanation --- He was PLANTED by the dnc to be the loud voice who then "confesses" his lies to the people.
But yesterday, a key figure in the anti-Kerry campaign, Kerry's former commanding officer, backed off one of the key contentions. Lieutenant Commander George Elliott said in an interview that he had made a ''terrible mistake" in signing an affidavit that suggests Kerry did not deserve the Silver Star -- one of the main allegations in the book. The affidavit was given to The Boston Globe by the anti-Kerry group to justify assertions in their ad and book. Elliott is quoted as saying that Kerry ''lied about what occurred in Vietnam . . . for example, in connection with his Silver Star, I was never informed that he had simply shot a wounded, fleeing Viet Cong in the back." http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2004/08/06/veteran_retracts_criticism_of_kerry/
Must have cost TeRAYza some good bucks for that retraction.
We may think there's freedom of speech in this country, but look what happens when someone speaks out.
The timing is very suspicious, no? I wonder if Elliott is going to disappear to Africa somewhere.
DNC B'S' just received in email:
Pay close attention the next few days. GWBs discharge papers have been found and will be released.
He was discharged as undesirable
Ill bet the folks in uniform are going to love having a Commander in Chief for the next few months who received an undesirable discharge.
Stay tuned!!
So, how much was he paid to fade back into obscurity?
