Probably the same thing he is now, living in the same place, thankful to not be facing a lawsuit which, even if decided in his favor would bankrupt him and take years. The average retiree/near retiree cannot afford to spend as much as the Kerry war chest could pony up, and then never recover it in their lifetime, especially if the Kerry bunch dropped the suit.
I think they are getting paid for all this in the first place, especially in connection with the book. I wonder how much more the Dims offered him.
