This information is coming from Captial Blue???
Might have been a plant from the start.
I am not saying this article is truthful, just saying its out there. We need some research on the facts of the articles claim and the ads participants.
Nothing wrong with shooting a VC in the back or anywhere else....would you not have the police shoot a murderer in the back if he were fleeing the crime scene...
As far as being a teenager is concerned....3/4 of the grunts I served with were also teenagers and that didn't stop the VC from shooting or blowing us up....
Anyway Commander....now that you know the truth.....do you still think he deserves a Silver Star or has the Character necessary to be POTUS...the most powerful nation on earth....and more importantly OUR HOME ??....
If your answer is NO ...why did you retract?....
How exactly does one mistakenly sign an affidavit?????
After the AWOL incident, it was reported he received an honorable discharge.
Yep, get ready, The dems are getting really desperate. They're attempting to start a Moore type attack.
Now, if they try this, people need to demand Kerry's military records. Bush showed his freely, Kerry should not be hiding behind his.
There's too much controversy. Release all the military records of both of them. We need to know the truth.
Elliott, in the interview yesterday, said that based on the affidavits of the veterans on other boats, he now thinks his assessment about the Bronze Star and third Purple Heart may have been based on poor information.
In one affidavit, for example, Van O'Dell, who said he had been in a boat near Kerry on that day, declared that Kerry had ''lied" about what happened on that day and said that Rassmann was not under enemy fire when Kerry pulled him aboard.
Elliott, asked about the contradiction between his recommendation and his new questioning of Kerry's third Purple Heart, responded, ''It makes me look kind of silly, to be perfectly honest."
But he said: "I simply have no reason for these guys to be lying, and if they are lying in concert, it is one hell of a conspiracy. So, on the basis of all of the information that has come out, I have chosen to believe the other men. I absolutely do not know first hand."
That's not how the media will spin it, but that is what the man said.
Good Catch .. and very possible
This will cast doubt on ANYONE who impugns Kerry's war record from here on out. Kerry's war record is now "off the table" as a tool for defeating him.
John O'Neil has been fighting Kerry since 1971 when he called us all murderers.
The investigation, should there be one, needs to focus on John Kerry and his motives.
Not the swifties!
But as Rush just pointed out; that is not until the third page of his statement; and of couse, will this will not carry the interest of the media as they hype this story.
Score one. . .for Kerry.
Furthermore, this may explain why many conservative TV and radio people (O'Really)were not buying into the swift boat vet story for the last 24 hrs...they knew something like this was comin down the pipe.
a flip-flop
kerry must be so proud that his flip-floppin ways are catching on.
Money buys silence???
you notice this "breaks" on a Friday - hard to offer a response on the weekend!
IF the swift boat vets are portraying things that are not indeed true, then it doesn't help the cause at all... I hate Kerry, but the other side is not going to sit by, and the article I linked has nothing to do with the making of the book but of the portrayal of the ad vs what the article claims are facts....
This is out there and must be answered.. if the left is lying then so be it, lets call em on it.. if however what they claim is true, we have to know.
Being consistent may hinder our side against the left, since they can lie cheat and steal with impunity, but we can't. Now admittedly most of the criticism in the article are mistatements by media reporting on the ad vs the ad itself, but it still has to be watched and monitored.
Well then why hasn't Moore been sued yet?
The article headline says Elliot lied.
No where in the article does he say he lied. He says he "made a mistake".
